Nori and Jolyne opened the door to see Jotaro standing there with a dozen white roses. Jotaro hands Nori the dozen and gives Jolyne a small aloe-vera plant in a polka-dotted pot.
Jotaro picked up Jolyne and pulled Nori into a hug. A Kujo group hug.
"I missed you too..." Jotaro whispered.
"Is something wrong papa?" Jolyne asked grabbing Jotaro's face.
"We have cake," Nori smiled.
The three stopped hugging. Josuke walked in to greet Jotaro.
"PAPA! Can I help you cut the cake?!" Jolyne smiled, her eyes sparkling.
"Sure," Jotaro smiled softly.
Jolyne ran to the table with Josuke. Nori came to join them but Jotaro grabbed his sleeve.
"Yes, dear?" Noriaki asked
Jotaro looked down at his love and kissed Nori's forehead.
"You missed," Nori joked.
"Huh-?" Jotaro replied
Nori looked up and pecked Jotaro's lips.
"Time for cake, okay?" Nori smiled.
Jotaro softly smiled as he thought:
I am truly happy
Noriaki handed Jotaro the knife for the cake.
"Papa a wanna help," Jolyne smiled.
Jotaro let her grab the knife handle, his hand covering his child's hand.
The two cut the cake.
"It's not little Jojo's birthday yet, but it will be in a few days. Why the cake?" Jotaro asked
"As you said earlier, I missed you," Nori replied.
"I don't want you to leave," Jolyne frowned.
-The next day because I don't know what to add-
Jolyne got up earlier than normal because she wanted to make breakfast for Nori. She opened her parent's door as quickly and quietly as possible. She tiptoed to Jotaro.
"Papa," She whispers
"Yes, little Jojo?" Jotaro asked tiredly.
"Shhhhhhh. Don't wake daddy." Jolyne demanded still whispering
Jotaro looked over to Nori, who was in fact still sleeping, and got out of bed.
"Papa, can we make dad breakfast in bed today?" Jolyne asked with a toothy smile.
"Yeah," Jotaro said as he put out his hand for a high five from Jolyne.
The two high-fived and went to the kitchen.
The two decided to make pancakes and eggs (for everyone but Nori is getting special treatment).
"Have you invited any friends to come over tomorrow?" Jotaro asked as Jolyne mixed the pancake batter.
Jolyne turned her head away from Jotaro and looked to the ground, she shook her head.
"Well, we will still make it a great birthday, alright?" Jotaro smiled as he put his hand on her head.
She looked back up and gave her toothy smile.
They finished making food together; it was a great bonding moment between the two.
Jolyne and Jotaro went to the room in which Nori was reading a book.
"Oh hello," Nori smiled.
"Dad! Look we made breakfast!" Jolyne smiled.
"Do you want to give him the trey?" Jotaro asked
Jolyne nodded as Jotaro handed her the trey that had two pancakes with a strawberry sauce and some banana slices and scrambled eggs.
Jolyne put it on Nori's bed.
Nori was kinda speechless, he just smiled.
He put his book down and told them, "this looked so yummy!"
Jotaro saw some kind of glow around Nori.
