Third Person POV~

It's the next morning when Alaric found Freya and Rebekah with their niece.

"Anything yet, Freya?" Alaric asks as he walks into Hope's room where they had moved her so Freya could do magic without being interrupted by Rafael or other students.

"No. And there's nothing I can do to wake her before the funeral." Freya said solemnly.

"She's so young. She shouldn't have to go through this." Rebekah comments sadly, thinking about the pain of losing the person you love more than words can describe.

"This is probably a bad time to ask but, " Alaric paused, he continued when both blonde Mikaelson's turned to him.

"My daughters are burying their sister today. You both have lost siblings. I wonder, if there was any advice you could give them?"

"There's nothing you can say that makes losing a sibling hurt less, as I'm sure you can imagine. Just be there for them as best you can." Rebekah answered, and Freya nodded as she tried one more spell.

"I don't want to do this." Lizzie whispered as she put her hair in a ponytail.

"I know. But we don't really have a choice, Lizzie." MG tells her as he adjusts his black suit jacket.

"Come on, let's go get Jo. She really shouldn't be alone right now." Lizzie says as she and MG walk to Josie's new room, which happens to be on the other side of Lily's room.

When they got there, Josie was curled up against her headboard on the bed in Caroline's arms crying her eyes out.

Lizzie had to look away when tears came to her eyes as well. "I'll give you two a minute." Lizzie said before she and MG walked away.

"I shouldn't go." Josie mumbled into her mother's shoulder.

"What? Josie, of course, you should." Caroline says gently, but her daughter just shakes her head.

"How am I supposed to look at everybody when I'm the one who..." Josie stopped herself from saying it again. The thought alone was too painful.

"Honey, that wasn't you. You shouldn't blame yourself for that. And your sister would want you there." once Caroline said this, Josie nodded her head and the two of them went to the front of the school where everyone attending the small funeral was.

Elena, Damon, and their daughter Stefanie. Bonnie, Freya, Rebekah, Alaric, and Lizzie.

"What the hell is Barbie Klaus doing here?" Damon asks annoyed.

"Hey! That little girl is just as much part of our family as she is yours! Of course, I came." Rebekah retorts quickly. "Enough." Freya stopped them before any more could be said.

Together, they walked to the woods where the Salvatore family crypt was, when they got there, MG and Kaleb were standing beside a casket. They had carried Lily there so that Caroline and Rebekah wouldn't have to.

"We've done this so much. How is it we still don't know how to start?" Elena asks, sadness lacing her voice.
