Chapter 9- A Summer With No Hope

Lily's POV~

When Hope hangs up the phone, I break. My dad goes to call maintenance, but I knock him out. I take Hope's files, and my dad's notes and put them in her room. Sealing it shut with magic. By the time I'm done, the sobs have stopped and I'm just crying silent tears.

Getting up, I wipe my tears and go to the honor council meeting. "Why do we have six voting tiles? You, me, Rafael, Lily, school guardian. That's five." Kaleb asks and I answer. "Because it was for someone who erased themselves from everyone's minds but mine. Guess being a hybrid has its downsides... My vote, -" I take my voting tile and place it on the scale. "Alaric goes." and I walk out. Then I use my vampire abilities and speed away before Josie can catch me.

When I get to the old mill, I just start breaking things. And screaming. Eventually, I walk out of the mill and scream again, magic surges out and breaks the trees that are closet to me. I stayed out there until dawn. Walking back to the school. I see Alaric walking in with Landon.

"You!" I yell and the room shakes. "This. Is. All. Your. FUCKING. FAULT!" I yell louder and walk up to him. "Woah, Lily calm down, your eyes are turning gold?" Alaric says getting between Landon and me I. I shove him to the wall near us. "Back off Alaric! This is your fault too! If you never even brought Landon back with is when we picked up Rafael none of this would have happened! As for you. Let's see if my theory about ripping you to shreds is right!" I say the last part looking at Landon. 

I go to him, and just beat him. Eventually, I stop, and just break his neck. I stand up and look at Alaric. "It's because of the two of you, that everyone forgot who she is. And it's because of the two of you, that I lost the love of my life." "How? Lily, what are you talking about? Who are you talking about?" Alaric asks me and I shake my head, letting the tears fall. "Hope. Mikaelson. Klaus and Haley's daughter. She jumped into the Malivore pit because she's a tribrid and the blood of a witch, wolf, and vampire created Malivore so she could destroy it. She died because you bright HIM to this school." I answer his question with so much hate, and sadness, and rage. Then I walk away.

It's been about a week and a half. The voting of the honor council was in. Alaric got voted out 1-5. I'm not even sure who voted what. And quite frankly I don't care. No one has seen me. I'm either hold up in my room, my secret room where the piano Hope have me is, or in her room, which I still have sealed.

Alaric, Josie, and Lizzie have all tried to talk to me. I don't speak to Alaric but I will speak to the twins. They did nothing wrong so I'm not going to punish them for something they didn't do. But I still keep my walls high around them. Summer break started, everyone is leaving to go home or on vacation in a few days. Lizzie is going to see mom in Europe. I was thinking about going but I haven't decided yet.

I just want to get away from it all. So I do the only thing I can think of. I go visit the psycho in the prison world.

When I get to the bar, I just walk out immediately. I hate that song that's playing. When I do, I see Kai chilling on a bench. I roll my eyes and walk the other way, but he here's me. "Oh woah, where you going? No chit chat today Lillian?" he says getting up and walking next to me at the same pace. "Just shut it, Kai, I came here to get away from the real world not talk the psychopath that wants to kill me." I say and try walking faster, but I forgot he's a vampire too. So he can match that pace too.
