peter's gaze followed you around the cafeteria as you walked to your table that was adjacent to his own. "y/n's changed her hair today. it looks good" peter smiled, watching as you waved to a couple of your friends at another table. "we should probably stop staring before it gets creepy though" you peered over your shoulder at the two boys who were whispering oddly loudly. "oh hey peter, i did decide to switch up my hair today. thanks for noticing" you smiled warmly to the boy who's jaw hung open. "you- you know my name?" you laughed and shook your head at peters cluelessness. "of course i know you're name parker. you're like the smartest boy in our year, not to mention the cutest" the boys cheeks grew a deep shade of red. his friend, who you hadn't learnt the name of yet, grinned at you. "you know what, take me out on a date" you stood from the bench and sent the best friends a wink before walking out of the cafeteria. peter turned to ned excitedly. "i cant believe that just happened!"
