Stormi's pov

I wake up with a pounding headache. I blink a few times and rub away the stickiness from my eyes.

I look around my surroundings and feel my heart to race as I see I'm laying in the back of a car.

The events come rolling in the back of my head of what happened.

Kaden made love to me then put a cloth over my face making me pass out.

That stupid dumb mother----

I recognize Jullian driving the car as I sit up and narrow my eyes at him.

"Where the fuck am I going?" I ask through gritted teeth.

He snaps his head back and stares at me before looking towards the road again.

He doesn't say anything.

"Where the fuck are you taking me?" I scream this time.

"It doesn't matter." He finally grunts.

"Why?" I whisper.

He looks at me again and I see the saddness in his eyes. He doesn't say anything as he drags his eyes back to the road.

I spot his phone in the center console and test my options.

He's driving, what's can he do?

I dodge for the phone and grab it before jumping over the backseat. He slams on his breaks.

"Give me the phone!"

"I'm calling Kaden!" I yell pressing dial.

I listen to it ring as I keep looking over my shoulder at Jullian who's staring at me like I just bombed a building.

"What's wrong?" Kaden asked once he answers the phone.

My anger builds up as I hear how calm his voice is.

"Why?" I begin to cry. My voice cracks as the words come out.

"Princessa.." He sighs. "Give the phone to Jullian."

"Tell me why! Why did you drug me and abandoned me? You promised you wouldn't. I thought you loved me." I choke out.

"Stormi..." He begins to say but I interrupt him.

"You lied. You are a fucking lier. You promised me. You promised me forever! Then you leave me like everyone else! How could you? I trusted you! I fucking trusted you Kaden!"

"I'm sorry." Is all he says before the phone is snatched away from me.

Not a single ounce of sorrow is behind his words.

His voice had no emotion behind it as he spoke.

I guess I was just another pawn in his game.

The tears block my vision and the pain in my chest is aching so bad that I don't have the urge to fight Jullian to hand the phone back.

He doesn't love you.

He doesn't want you.

He doesn't care.

He lied.

He played you.

He is just like the others.

Those words circle around my head as the insecurity feeling overcomes me.

The feeling of being unwanted.

I wipe away the tears and take a few deep breaths in and out until they completely disappear.

I watch Jullian talking on the phone but I can't comprehend the words that are coming out. Every sense in my body feels numb besides the feeling to escape.

The feeling to get away from the people who don't want me anymore.

I look around and all I see is trees and open field farms.

I'll wait.

We drove for a few more hours. I was in and out of consciousness as the tears kept going down my face.

The trauma from my childhood is fresh in my mind but nothing compares to the pain of feeling unwanted by Kaden.

To get thrown aside away like trash for absolutely no reason known.

My heart eases at the sight of houses, street signs and buildings.

"I need to use the bathroom!" I grunt out. "I need water too."

Jullian nods as he pulls into a gas station. He parks at a gas pump and lets me out.

He grabs my arm hard and pulls me to his chest. "Kaden doesn't want to tell you this but we are all upset over you having to leave. It's for your safety. It's not because he doesn't love you because he does. Kaden loves you Stormi. If you would of stayed, he could of lost you forever and he doesn't want that to happen."

His words sink in but they don't change the emptiness pit that has swallowed my heart.

"It doesn't matter anymore now does it?"

I roll my eyes and walk into the store. I walk into the restroom and let out a breath of relief when I see a huge window near the back wall. I quickly empty my bladder and wash my hands before looking around making sure nobody else is in here.

I open the window and climb out before running straight ahead.

I have absolutely no idea where I'm going. I have no money, no phone, I have nothing but nothing is better than being somewhere where I'm not wanted.

I run inbetween houses and building incase Jullian notices my absence and looks for me.

Even with the harsh pain in my entire body, I kept running.

I only stopped when the burning sensation turned to fire in my lungs and I couldn't breath anymore.

I fell to the ground and put one hand over my heart as I exhale and inhaled deeply.

The fire became worse as I started to panic.

All my emotions starting hitting me all at once and my anxiety kicked in.

I haven't had an anxiety attacked in so long, I forgot how miserable they were.

My body begins to shake as the pain takes over.

Eventually, the pain disappears and I'm left feeling numb.

I blink my eyes rapidly as I start to see black spots. Little black spots everywhere.

As I close my eyes, I hear footsteps approaching.
