Skylar was watching Clint fix the porch while coloring with Lila. Copper his son, was also helping fix the porch they were measuring the wood. Skylar smiled at how he was going on about how awesome it was to be a superhero, doing everything in her power to avoid the gruesome parts.
Once Cooper went to go sit with Lila then Skylar went to go stand next to Clint watching him measure the wood. Then she stared off into the sky.
"Are you alright?" Clint asked the blonde. She blinked up in surprise.
"I have to be, right?" Skylar said looking out still.
"Sky..."
Skylar gave a small smile. "Clint, don't worry about me, okay? I am fully capable of taking care of myself, and I promise I'm okay."
Clint looked at her before nodding and going back to work.
"She showed me when I was at hydra, when they called me subject 09." Skylar whispered the last part but Clint caught it. It made him frown and immediately pull in his lips at this.
"I went through it over and over again, but in this you and Nat didn't save me. You know what I'm not even mad that she showed me that. Sure, It scared the living daylights out of me, but I'm just angry that she even touched Natasha." Skylar said.
"I've never seen you two so shaken." Clint said "especially you,"
"Why especially me?" Skylar asked furrowing her eyebrows, the man gave a small smile in response.
"Well, you always find a way to smile no matter what the circumstance is. You're sort of like the kid I never wanted but look at me, I got four because I'm counting the blonde we call Skylar." He shrugged that made Skylar smile. "Point is, I'm not used to seeing you so.... destroyed not since Nat and I rescued you. It scared me that it was something I couldn't fix."
"I'm sorry." Skylar apologized
"You can't apologize for something you didn't do." Clint reassured her. She nodded before giving him a side hug. Clint kissed the top of her forehead and whispered. "Almost fully capable."
Skylar hit him on the shoulder with a wrench.
"Hey! We don't hit people with wrenches!" He exclaimed holding his shoulder. Skylar laughed.

Skylar was helping pick up toys and giving them to Cooper and Lila while listening to the people speak with a now alive Fury.
"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk." Natasha said in amused voice.
"You know what Romanoff?" Steve said. Skylar looked at Natasha who had a mischievous smirk on her face.
"So what does he we want?" Fury asked ignoring the comments
"To become better. Better than us. He's building bodies." Steve said.
"Person bodies, the human form is inefficient. Biologically speaking, we're outmoded. But he keeps coming back to it." Tony said.
Skylar stood up and walked to lean on the doorway.
"When you programmed him to protect the human race, you amazingly failed." Natasha said earning a smirk from Skylar.
Bruce looked at the picture Lila drew for Natasha. "They don't need to be protected they need to evolve. Ultron's going to evolve."
"How?" Fury asked.
"Has anyone been in contact with Helen Cho?" Bruce asked looking at everyone.
