CHAPTER SIX

"Ninang where's tito Jace?" Yanna asked while her eyes were twinkling. Ang cute-cute talaga ng batang ito, mana sa tita!

"Uhm." Pinaupo ko siya sa aking hita. "Baby Yanna, you know we already broke up."

"Tita what's broke up, po?" She curiously asked.

I sighed. "It means, we are no longer girlfriends and boyfriends, baby. So hindi na natin siya makikita at makakasama kahit kailan, okay?"

Napakamot siya sa ulo. "I don't understand, tita." Ngumuso siya, cute-cute talaga ng batang ito, chubby eh.

"Yanna, don't disturb your tita Kishi. Go and eat your lunch." Sigaw ni Yen galing sa dinning room.

Umalis siya sa aking hita at bumaba, nagsuot ng slippers. "Yes mom." Sabi niya at tumakbo papunta roon sa dinning room.

Three weeks had already passed when I saw Jace and Fiona and three weeks had already passed when I see to that marriage. Two weeks had already passed when I had already posted on my Facebook, twitter and Instagram accounts that:

'Me and Jace already broke up, I know some of you will ask why and what happened, maybe I can answer your questions some other time. But things didn't really work out between the two of us, I guessed hindi kami iyong para sa isa't-isa. Don't you guys worry, we're still friends.'

Kinaumagahan ay nag-aya ang mga kaibigan ko na pumunta sa mall. Lalabas sana siya that time kasama ang aking mga kaibigan para galing sa loob ng isang botique pero may nakakilala sa kanilang lahat, especially her.

Kalat na nga sa buong mundo ang break up namin, ginawang issue kaya marami siyang sinagot na tanong ng mga reporters. Nagsisisi tuloy akong ni-post ko iyon, but somehow, may part sa akin na kailangang malaman ng mga tao para hindi na kami i-team up sa isang project gaya nong dati nong kami pa.

"Why did you two broke up, is it because of his new project or is it because Fiona and Jace's love story?" Tanong ng lalaking reporter.

My forehead creased. "It has nothing to do about the movie 'cause I kinda understood his job which is to be team up with some ladies, yeah. It's just a personal reason. That... I can't tell you."

"If you don't mind, may I ask what happened?" Tanong ng isang petite na babae mula sa likuran.

I shrugged. "You can ask him for that. I can really tell to all of you but I prefer na si Jace ang magsabi n'on sa inyo, kahit na wala na kami, still I respect his work, so you can ask him what happened." I smiled at them.

"Okay. Marami pong nanghihinayang na sana hindi kayo nagbreak, what can you say to JaFaith supporters and fans?"

Like what the reporters said, may mga fans ako, si Jace at ang love team namin na sumusuporta sa amin. "Hmm. Were sorry if things didn't work out between me and him, to JaFaith supporters and fans, a big thank you for your support and for understanding pero talagang hindi na maibabalik sa dating kami."

"Mind if I ask you po!" May nag-angat ng kamay sa likuran kaya tinuro ko siya.

"Yes, miss?"

She smiled at me genuinely. "I am one of your super fans po."

"Thank you..."

"Uhm... Kung sakali po, hindi naman po natin alam kung sino ang makakatuluyan natin in the end or in the future. Kung sakali po in the future, are you willing to date someone, some guys po, malay niyo, baka mahanap mo ang the one mo?"
