MICHELLE POV

Ava and I were at Whitney's home. Luckily she moved from that other place. But the new house was beautiful. Her and her hubby really jazzed up this place.

"I must ask what if you see Tatum?" Whitney asked.

"Trust me I won't see him" I said.

"Okay I didn't tell you that the venue we are having the wedding is own by him" she said.

"Whitney?! Really?! When were you going to tell me this? The day of the wedding?!" I asked.

"Sorry but I doubt he'll be there anyway" she said.

The stress that I was starting to feel was real. Turning my attention to Ava who was playing with the other children. It's not like he doesn't ask for her dad but the person Tatum was when I left. I don't want her to meet that person.

"Hold up? When did he become a business man?" I asked.

Whitney shrugged "good question. But I had no idea he owned the place until we went to pay".

When the rehearsal was over... Ava skipped ahead of me with some of the other children.

"Dammit I forgot my keys" Whitney said.

"You're lucky it's not super hot out" I joked. She ran inside and we stayed by her car. "Mommy I'm hungry" Ava said.

"Me too! When auntie comes back out you tell her so we can go eat" I winked.

Hearing someone clear their throat.. I turned to see Tatum standing by his car. Dammit. Pretending to not notice him. Whitney came out dangling her car key with a smile. Rushing her to come on "open the door".

She did what I said and I helped Ava inside... looking up I saw he was making his way over here.

"Whitney don't look but Tatum is walking over here. Just calmly start the car and drive off" I said.

"Umm that'll be rude" she said.

"No it's fine. I'm not ready" I said.

Glancing at the rear view mirror he was so close... Whitney pressed on the gas and we were off. He stood there shaking his head. Whew! That was close.

I'm not ready to have that talk with Tatum. Not today... and not there.

TATUM POV

Very childish Michelle.

Watching Whitney's car pull off.

Because I own the venue I knew rehearsals were going on today. All day I was debating if I wanted to confront Michelle today. But I came over here anyway.

I was sitting in my car for over two hours. When I saw Michelle walk out with our daughter whom is beautiful... my heart melted. Had to hold back my tears. Knowing I missed out on knowing that little girl.  Not even knowing her name hurt.

Seeing how Michelle interacted with our daughter... that's what made me get out the car and try to approach them. But Michelle was quick today.

It's like she panicked when she saw me. All I wanted to do is talk and meet our daughter. But she couldn't even do me that favor. The wedding is in a couple of days so I'll get her then.

MICHELLE POV

Watching Ava dance a little when the food came to the table. She smiled big when her plate was placed infront of her.

"She loves food" Whitney said.

"Right? Just like her... D A D" I said.

"Like who?" Ava asked.

I smiled "oh no one honey. Eat up".

"So you do know you will run into Tatum again. And this time you will have to talk to him" Whitney said.

"I know don't remind me" I whined.

Whitney sighed "he hasn't moved on with anyone else. Every time he saw me in town he would always tell me how much he loves you... I thought he was crazy but he never moved on. I mean for this man years later to still try and hunt you down says something".

Taking a sip of my soda "it says we have a kid together and he's trying to see her".

"Don't think so. I mean he obviously wants to see her but I think he truly still loves you despite all that happened with you guys".

"Did he put you up to this?" I asked.

"Really?!" She asked.

I nodded "he could've..."

"Girl eat your food before it gets cold. I was just stating the obvious whether you want to hear it or not. I mean you never had anyone else after you left. I would think you two are still into each other at the end of the day. Keep fighting it".
