Hi guys! So you don't actually have to read this part (it isn't crucial to the storyline), BUT I thought that this would be beneficial to those of you who haven't read the books and just to explain some general things. So, yeah!

GENERAL EXPLANATIONS (stand for the entire story)

- I mentioned this earlier, but Covid-19 does NOT exist in this storyline. I will probably write a story or two that does involve covid but I thought that this storyline would benefit from no covid. So everything (Trump's impeachment stuff, Biden winning, the BLM protests, etc.) other than Covid has happened in this story.

-The 1st act starts in mid-November and now Act Two will be starting around early going into mid-December. We won't spend a lot of time in December, because filming starts in January and Act Two is all about filming and drama (yay!!)

- Evelyn and Veda are 16, Dakota is 17, and Val is 15. All characters portraying themselves (Louis, Millie, Asher, etc.) are their actual ages, unless I state otherwise.

ACT EXPLANATIONS

- So some things will be changing with formatting. For instance, at the beginning of each chapter I'll have a little space that explains the chapter number and what formats in which it takes place (instagram, text, etc.)

- There will be 3 acts: Act One is "the one in which evelyn faye bennett embarrasses herself". Act Two will be called "the one in which evelyn faye bennett gets more than she asked for". Act Three does not currently have a name lol.

- Gallagher Girls is split into acts because 1. It is less daunting than just having a chapter limit you set for yourself and 2. each act has chapters that include the plot point in the description.

GALLAGHER GIRLS EXPLANATION

- 1st and foremost (i will also be stating this every time that "filming" goes on during a chapter: Plot points for Gallagher Girls/Exceptional Young Women are NOT mine! This is a fictional movie based on "I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You" by Ally Carter. The book is the first of 6 in the "Gallagher Girls" book series. Exceptional Young Women (another fictional movie) is based on "Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy", the second book in the series.

- I changed the names for the "movies" so 1. It wouldn't seem like I took credit for the plot points and 2. So the names would be simpler and more intriguing, like how Netflix named their movie "Enola Holmes", not "Enola Holmes and the Missing Marquess".

- ITYILYBTIHTKY EXPLANATION: So in the first book, Cammie, Bex, and Liz are introduced as three best friends who attend The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, which is actually a school that trains female spies. Cammie's mom is the headmistress, so Cammie has grown up at the school and knows everything about it. At some point, Macey is introduced as Cammie, Bex, and Liz's new roommate. Macey is a bit standoffish at first, but eventually she and the girls become friends. During a Covert Operations class assignment, she meets Josh, a boy from town. She starts liking him, and sneaking out to meet him so she can go on dates. The entire time, she has to keep Josh a secret from her school, and her school a secret from Josh. After Josh starts being in danger, Cammie gets caught.

- CMHAHTS EXPLANATION: So this starts a little after the 1st book ends, with Cammie in trouble since she was able to get away so easily. She is no longer allowed to be in contact with Josh, but she is quickly occupied after finding out that the wing that had been closed off starting at the beginning of the semester was actually a temporary living space for students at the Blackthorne School For Boys, which is basically the male equivalent of the Gallagher Academy. (I'm not giving away the ending just yet, we haven't even started filming lol)

So, yeah! I don't think there is anything I'm forgetting (if there is anything you want to know, please ask!) Love you guys! Thanks so much for reading this, it means a lot <3

xoxo, ames
