Your POV;

"I am willing to try~

But only if you are willing to give me time." You tell lucas.

"Whatever you need Star." He replies with a soft smile, taking your hands in his from across the table. "Just tell me and I'll give it to you." He says while reassuringly squeezing your hand.

"Thank you Sushi." You cheekily smile. He groans again at the nickname but you see a small smile tugging at his gorgeous plump lips. "Can I ask you something?" He asks.

"Yes, of course, ask away." You smile at him.

"Can you maybe, eehm," he hesitates.

"Lucas, you can ask me anything, don't worry." You comfort him.

"Can you tell me about your past?" He asks not sure, with his head cutely tilt to the side, eyes looking in yours, searching for some sort of discomfort.

"If you don't want to, that's okay. I just thought that maybe talking about our pasts could rebuild the trust and comfort between us." He says with a worried tone. "I don't want to unnecessarily hurt you because I just straight up don't know some things about you and I want to understand how you feel in certain situation so I can care for you like a true friend or maybe later even as your boyfriend." He says with a small smirk and wink at the last sentence.

"Aww Sushi." You tease him. "That's actually really sweet." You comply.

"So like, do you want to talk about it?" He asks a bit unsure how you're feeling about this whole situation.

"Yeah, we can talk about it." You answer.

You look at the table, all the sushi is already gone. "Shall we walk and talk?" You ask him, a bit uncomfortable with his strong stare on you all the time.

"Of course!" Lucas happily answers while jumping out of his seat. He speed walks to your seat and outstretches his hand for you to take. "Come with me." He says with a small curtsy.

You giggle at his formal attempt and grab his hand. He helps you carefully out of your chair and intertwines his fingers with yours. You blush at his gesture and take a small glance at his hand, wrapped around yours.

"So Miss Moon," he says in a serious tone. "Can you first tell me what happened between you and your parents." He asks trying to mimic the voice, and way of talking of a psychologist.

"Well, Doctor Wong," you play along, finding some sort of comfort in talking about it this way.

"Damn Y/N, you should call me that more often." He says with a small wink.

You look at him with wide eyes and hit his bicep with a small whine. "You ruined the mood, idiot."

"Ouch." He rubs over the place you hit him. "I'm sorry, I'll behave professionally." He gives you an apologetic smile and a soft nod to sign that you can continue talking.

"Well, to understand it all you first need to know about Jackson." You say with a soft voice, already feeling that heart clenching pain built up in your stomach. "The waiter, right?" Lucas asks.
