We've just finished bowling and it's very safe to say that I lost miserably. So now I'm sat In a restaurant with Alex, staring at my drink with my resting bitch face on. I am not happy that I lost.
"Your such a sore loser" he says making me glare at him and he smirks.
"It's not my fault! The ball was just going in the opposite direction from where I rolled it" i say crossing my arms, "I'm more good with contact sports"
"You are?" He asks with a smirk
"you should know" i say and his smirk turns into a grin
"Hmm now you mention it I think I could do with a recap" he says
I hum, "so could I"
"Here are your meals" the waitress says and I pull my eyes away from Alex
"Thank you" i say as she puts the food down infront of me
"It's no problem" she says before walking away
"So, have you heard anything from any universities?" I ask him
He shrugs, "mainly just scouts coming to see my games. I get the usual conversation with coach saying how they are all interested but I won't find out for a few weeks"
"Are you still unsure about going to college?" I ask and he nods
"I am. I'm not sure it's what I want" he says
"Well, when your in the field. What does it feel like to you?" I ask
"I love the adrenaline rush I get, it's like every inch of me is on edge... but in a good way. I can't really explain it, the best bit is the atmosphere with the crowds... I just love it" he says
I smile, "maybe you've already made up your mind"
"Maybe I have" he says his eyes meeting mine.
"What about you? Are you ready for next year... you know england and all?" He asks me
"No" i admit.
"Why not?" He asks
"It's so much pressure, what if I mess up?" I ask
"Lil, you put yourself under way too much stress. You've been preparing for this you entire life. You've got this. Now all your getting is a newer fancy title and more responsibilities" he says and i nod
