*Carly's PoV*

"How're you feeling, babe?" My boyfriend, Gally, asked me.

"Not good," I replied. I had the flu.

"Anything you want?" He asked.

"Well, can you get Frypan to make me some soup?" I requested.

"Yeah, hold on. I'll be back in a minute," He said.

After Gally left, I could hear him yelling. I laughed a little bit at him. Sure, he came off as jerky at first, but he was such a sweetheart deep down. I know he would do anything for me. I'm not even sure why he was such a jerk to the Gladers. Around me, he was perfect.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as Gally walked back into my room. "Here's your soup," he said, putting a steaming bowl on my bedside table.

"Thanks, Gally. You're the best," I said.

"I know," he replied, laughing.

Then, he kissed me. It wasn't our first kiss, but it was just as magical.

"You know you might get sick," I said after our lips detached.

"Well," he said, "it's definitely a risk I'm willing to take if it means I can kiss you."

We kissed again, and sure enough, tomorrow he was in bed with me. It sucked that we were sick, but it was nice to just spend a couple of days alone with Gally.

So, I hope that isn't as bad as I think it is. But, whatever. I know it's a little short, but, what can I say. I do my best.
