"Hello?"
Mitsuki took the brand new phone he bought so his friends could call him over. He was glad he did, his snake seems to be enjoying the fact it was more a pet than a tool. The person who called was known for him, but her voice came out different than usual
"Mitsuu... It's me, Chouchou."
Her melodious voice sounded a bit raspier. Was this how people sound through the phone? He kinda liked it
"Yes, I know, your number appears on the screen."
"Ugh, OK, Mr. Know it all..."
Chouchou paused and then quietly sighed
"Mitsu, can we meet another time?"
Mitsuki frowned feeling concern
"Are you OK?"
"Not so much, I haven't been able to sleep lately. Today I took the toll and I feel like crap."
Mitsuki understood and could have said "it's fine," to end up the conversation. Yet he wanted to talk a bit longer.
"Can you describe the symptoms? Maybe I can help and diagnose the reason why you can't sleep."
There was a HUGE silence after he asked, so long and silent that Mitsuki thought Chouchou was not there anymore
"Uhm... Bad dreams."
"Nightmares?"
Mitsuki had some of those before
"..........................sorta."
That "sorta," was said so lowly that Mitsuki wouldn't have heard if it wasn't for his superhuman sense of hearing
"It could be because of stress. What happens in those drea-"
"Ehhhh... I gotta hang! Later!"
He heard the click of the phone, followed by several beeping sounds
"Nightmares..."
He stood still crossing his arms thinking deeply about it.
