"hey where did the rest of the band go?" someone yelled at julie who was alone on the stage, while amelia went to find the three ghosts

julie looked like she was struggling until someone spoke up "we're those holograms?"

"yes!" julie jumped onto the lie "i plugged them into the ceiling projector before the show. id explain but it involves lots of algorithms and science stuff"

"lia! you did it" luke cheered noticing his sister

"we are so proud of you" reggie added

amelia smiled slightly "i think i might throw up"

"but you did it, that's what's important" alex smiled softly at her, squeezing her shoulder

"this is so wild. they could see us when we were playing but not when the music stopped" luke commented

"we should check" reggie announced as he jumped onto a section of the stage and started to move his butt in front of people "yeah they can't see us"

"i wish i couldn't see you" alex and amelia muttered at the same time, making them chuckle

"okay people! shows over!" principal lessa called making everyone move

amelia ran towards julie when she noticed mrs harrison approaching.

julie places the microphone down "mrs harrison i'm so sorry for not asking permission, i just wanted to show i belong here"

"and as amazing as that was, your spots already been filled by another student" mrs harrison said pointing towards a small boy dragging an instrument bigger than himself down the stairs

amelia scoffed "come on that's way to big for him"

"he'll grow into it, i wish i could help but my hands are tied"

"but mine aren't" principal lessa interrupted "as much as i didn't approve of this little stunt you pulled, i will not go down in history as the principal that kicked julie molina or amelia patterson out of the music program"

"thank you!" the girls chorused

"but when you win your first grammy, i want to be thanked"

"definitely!" they said as she walked away

mrs harrison squealed slightly hugging them both "does this mean we are gonna have a bit more participation from you amelia"

"i still feel nauseous from nerves, i don't know" amelia sighed

"we can work on that" she smiled "congratulations!"

flynn walked over with a dejected look on her face "wow, you did it"

"thanks to you" julie told her, flynn just nodded slowly

"hey, you okay?" amelia asked

"i'm great, but, uh, when did you two start playing with a hologram band, and when did amelia get over her stage fright?"

amelia shook her head "i haven't, i only did that for jules"

"it was just one song, we're not a band. they're a band, a hologram band. definitely holograms." julie panicked

"yeah i saw" flynn noddded "why have you been keeping those cute boys a secret?"

"there's a reason for that" amelia told her

julie nodded in agreement "yeah it's just really crazy"

"i'm all for crazy, let's hear it"

julie's face held a smile but her eyes held panic as she started to come up with a lie "okay, they are from, um, sweden. yeah, turns out they aren't only good at making meatballs"
