amelia gasped, her hand flying to mouth to cover the sob that threatened to escape. she watched as he boyfriend kissed the blonde girl that had been interfering with their relationship since it started. the one who made her doubt herself, the one who was so much prettier than her. she watched as he forced his tongue down the other girls throat.

amelia couldn't take watching anymore, she ran back down the corridor where she had previously come from and pulled out to phone, ringing the first number on her contacts.

millie, honey? aren't you supposed
to be in class right now?

dad, please can you come
and pick me up? i don't
think i can stay the rest of the day

amelia hung up the phone trying to keep control of her breathing, she leant against the lockers and sobbed quietly, she felt a hand on her shoulder, rubbing it gently, calming her. she spun towards the culprit. she sighed when she saw it was alex "what are you still doing here?"

"the others poofed out but i noticed you froze and wanted to check you were okay" alex said softly continuing to rub her shoulder

"did you hear what happened?" she asked quietly

alex nodded "i heard the conversation you had with your dad, he really didn't deserve you, he's a dick, and she's a bitch"

"you aren't wrong" amelia let out a watery laugh "i just didn't think he'd cheat you know, what did i do wrong?"

"you didnt do anything, he was unfaithful and that's his problem, this is on him and not you. you can do so much better than him" alex told her softly "are you gonna come by the studio later? and tell the others?"

"yeah, i need to pick my car up from julies, but i also have a song idea i wanna try when no ones there, but i'll tell them when i'm ready, please don't say anything" amelia said

"promise, you better go, your dad will be here soon" alex said

amelia turned slightly and threw her arms around him and buried her head in his shoulder "thank you. bye 'lex"

she sent him one last smiled before leaving the school, she saw her dads car in the car park and with a sigh she climbed in the passenger seat. "hey" she mumbled

"you okay?" mitch asked

"i don't know" she answered honestly "can you drop me off at julies? i need to pick up my car"

"are you sure you should be driving at the minute? you seem pretty upset, i don't want you getting hurt, we can pick it up tomorrow" mitch smiled sympathetically

"i have a song idea i want to try in the studio, so i might just stay until she comes home and then i'll be in a better state of mind to drive home" she said softly "i promise to be careful and if i don't feel up to it i'm sure ray will give me a lift"
