amelia made her way to the dance, and upon arriving made her way towards the stage, where flynn was dj-ing "hey, how you feeling?"

"i'm good now, kinda nervous but hanging in there" amelia smiled

"i've got yours and julies gear backstage, come on back" flynn grinned leaving the decks to meet her best friend behind the stage.

amelia and flynn were talking backstage when julie came back and smiled at the pair. "oh my gosh millie you look gorgeous"

"thanks jules, alex picked it out" she blushed "but come on, look at you, you look amazing"

"it was my moms" julie smiled "i finally went through her stuff"

"she would have loved that you wore that" flynn grinned "are the guys here?"

"not yet, but they will be. they know how important this is to us" julie nodded

amelia agreed "yeah they promised me"

julie sat on the floor backstage, while flynn went back out to the dj table. amelia slid down onto the floor next to her with a smile. "are you as nervous as i am?" julie asked

"i'm petrified, i'm scared of embarrassing myself, but the guys will be here. i'm sure of it" amelia reassured her

an hour passed and soon it was 9:15, and the boys were nowhere to be seen, and amelia was starting to panic that they weren't going to come.

"is everyone fired up for julie and the phantoms?" flynn exclaimed

the crowd erupted into a huge cheer

"well keep that fire because we are running a little behind schedule but don't worry, just enjoy these mind blowing beats" flynn grinned before running backstage again

"julie and the phantoms?" julie asked

"we had some spare time in french class" amelia shrugged

"that's why your failing"

flynn nodded and shrugged "well you better like it because i registered it on instagram, snapchat and twitter. and luke likes it"

"no no i love it, but why did luke find out before me?" julie scoffed playfully

amelia rolled her eyes "he decided to visit during french, scaring the shit out of me, might i add"

"well i would love it even more if the actual phantoms were here" julie sighed

flynn and amelia noticed a presence walk in behind julie, their eyes widening slightly, making julie turn around "nick! look guys it's nick"

"thanks for the introduction" nick grinned

"so you made it"

"wouldn't miss it"

flynn and amelia shared a look, flynn went back out to the dj table, and amelia sat on one of the boxes by the side of the stage.

"the truth is i can't wait to see you play again, your song has been stuck in my head all week" nick smiled

julie nodded "well someone should let it out" she then paused realising what she said "i don't know what that means either"

nick chuckled "i like your shoes"

"thanks, i like to doodle on them sometimes" julie smiled

suddenly carrie entered, with ollie and savannah trailing after her. "cant tell if the crowd is getting restless or bored. never a good sign"
