julie and amelia walked down the corridor of the school, lots of people kept stopping them and asking if they could have a selfie with them. both were confused but did it nonetheless. "thanks julie, amelia."

"i don't know why you guys want these" amelia chuckled as they walked away

"can i get a selfie too?" nicks voice came from behind them

julie spun around and came face to face with him, a blush on her cheeks "i'd have to check with security, oh wait, we don't have any"

"i'm gonna go find flynn" amelia said noticing the look that nick was giving julie. she grinned before continuing over to where flynn was stood at her locker "hey"

"what's going on over there?" flynn wiggled her eyebrows

"i can about 90% guarantee that he is about to ask her on a date" amelia grinned

"omg this is amazing" flynn beamed

amelia shook her head "she's gonna say no"

"what why?" flynn asked

"flynn, she's crushing on my brother, she can't do that to nick, she won't do that to nick" amelia explained

"julie has such a big heart" flynn sighed

julie walked towards the two of them with a small smile on her face.

"that was a bit more than a 'what's up?'" flynn said

"nick wanted to go on a date" julie said

"i knew it!" amelia exclaimed

julie shook her head "and i said no"

"i also called that"

"what?" flynn asked

"you were right, this luke thing isn't going away any time soon, so i figured why waste nick's time?" julie explained

flynn placed a hand on her heart "aww! my baby's all grown up. she's choosing to like someone who doesn't really exist, but she's all grown up"

"but he does exist, to me" julie said "and he may just be air, but we connect in so many other ways"

"you guys are the most watchable duetters i've ever seen" flynn grinned "followed by amelia vibing with reggie"

"it's not just singing, when we write, we're drawing from the same pain. we both know how it feels to lose our moms" julie said

"don't make me cry, it's a good eyeliner day today!" flynn pretended to wipe a tear

"he's just hurting so much, i wish i could help him" julie said

amelia nodded knowing what julie was talking about "maybe you could write him a song, i'd offer to help but that's my brother" she shuddered

"wait! your a genius" julie exclaimed running off

"jules! we still have class" amelia and flynn yelled in tandem

"right, as i said, genius" julie nodded walking back the opposite way and towards her class

amelia was laid on the sofa in her living room, her dad was sat in his arm chair, reading his newspaper. she was ranting about her day, to her father who was very clearly not interested in the slightest, but she was doing it anyway. "and then miss carson said that i wasn't allowed to do it my way, and i had to do it her way. like how unfair is that"

"you know honey, not everything is about you" mitch chuckled

"excuse you, yes it is" amelia sat up and stared at her father, his lips quirked up at the comment
