Akaki POV Yesterday my classmates celebrated my mom's death anniversary and my birthday. I was happy but for some reason I felt heavyweight, like I was doing something wrong. Noah grabbed me and held me by my waist which startled me at first but that was just the way he was. He leaned to my ear and said, "So what's your plan now? I'm sure they are still looking for your background but yet they aren't turning you in for the fake documents." He said and I started thinking. It was true, the detective knew about my gangster alias and they all soon found out that everything is fake documents by now. They haven't arrested me or placed me as a wanted criminal yet, should I take this to my advantage? "Hey hands off." I heard Daniel growl and I turned around making my heart jump. "Easy there, prretty boy." Noah taunted and I rolled my eyes as I heard a meow. I scanned around the house to see where Jade was and I placed Noah in front of me to cover me up as I opened the window to sneak Jade in. "What are you doing here?" I whispered to her and she meowed again loudly to get everyone's attention. This must be her revenge for being put out so quickly, the girl's turned around to see but Noah blocked them. "Was that a cat? You have a cat, Akaki?" Lina asked and I hid Jade under my shirt and went upstairs to throw her in the room making her angry. "Don't you glare at me." I warn and she hissed making me stick my tongue out. Everyone went home and Noah startled me when he kissed my forehead, Mamoru was boiling in anger. "Great, now I have another guy on my killing list." I laughed at his serious tone and he smiled at me. We decided to go back with Rena and come back the next day to start the work of thief again.
The Next Day
I was going to buy some groceries for Rena as a favor. Mamoru was showing off his technology inventions to Heliot who was amazed. I was still conflicted with everything because things have been going bad ever since the fight with Daniel and everything since then. As I was on my way back to Rena's house I stopped when Takaki was looking at me from a distance, I clenched the bags in my hands and continued walking towards him but I passed him. He grabbed me by the wrist making me stop, "Akaki, can't we just talk?" He said and I scoffed, "F*ck off, I don't want to talk to an officer." I said but he still didn't let my wrist go. "I'm not an officer right now, I'm..just a friend who cares about you." I contained my tears as I didn't want to remember anything of what I went though. "I don't...I can't even look at your face because the only thing I see is..is him." I released myself from his grasp and walked forward without looking back. I went to Rena's house to place everything in place and saw Heliot sleeping on top of Mamoru. I took a picture of them and sat in front of Mamoru's computer to look for a new item to steal. Although I longer am stealing for the sake of people, I need to find who really killed my mother and soon because I feel that time is running out for us. Mamoru woke up and place Heliot in his room while we both wore our cloaks for our mission. Our target were crystal necklace, we were ready to enter the the jewelry store when I saw fast shadow enter through the back. The police began to move around and I got confused, me and Mamoru got inside quickly to see a black hair woman with a cloak and veil covering her. She had the necklace in her hand and I could see her smirking.
