Third Person POV Akaki has been having panic attacks and nightmares lately after reading her mom's diary. She had decided to not move to another house as it was no use running away when her mom's killer was so close. Mamoru has been more worried about Akaki and all this but he stuck to her side and supported her. Rena and Akaki have been preparing for the worst to come without telling the boys. "Lilith, may I have a word?" Rena asked Akaki as they walked to a room far from the boy's ears. "What's wrong?" Akaki asked concerned. "I want you to take care of Heliot." Rena said and Akaki's eyes widened. "No. Don't tell me that. You will be here with Heliot, with me, and nothing will happen to you." Akaki started tearing up not wanting for her last family to die. "Lilith listen to me, please. You know that the Hiro family has something to do with your family's death. You know who killed your mom and you know the reason your dad left. You know everything and Hisaki will do anything to get his hands on you. But I will do everything in my power to not make that happen. I will protect you just like Dianne would." Akaki sobbed as she didn't understand why people were dying because of her. "Why are you doing this? You have a family to protect, why protect me?" She asked Rena. "Dianne's last will was to protect you from Hisaki. I will protect the three of you so don't taint your hands yet. That is my job." Rena said. "Promise me that if something happens to me you will take Heliot under your wing. You will train him alongside with you and you will make him the best thief in Japan. That is my last will." Akaki nodded as Rena hugged the young girl. Akaki and Rena saw how Mamoru and Heliot were on the computer doing something. They were having so much fun and then they turned to them. "Akaki, look! Since you don't have pictures when you were younger I did some technical work and see here." Mamoru exclaimed.

It was pictures of Akaki with Jade and Aniela. "Wow, it looks exactly similar to when you were small." Rena said and Akaki smiled as the pictures looked realistic as if those pictures were taken years ago.
Daniel POV Akaki didn't come to school the past few days and I still can't shake the feeling that Akaki, Mamoru, and Ms. Rena know my uncle. I tried asking my dad but he didn't know the answer to it. Inaya has been in her room with a dazed look and I would hear her crying at night while sleeping. One night I went to check on her to see her sleep talking saying 'I'm sorry' 'don't hurt her' and 'run away'. My dad looks stressed but continues to say it's work that has him like that. I was looking through album pictures when I saw my dad and uncle together. They looked identical but as time went by they looked different since they had different personalities and styles. Then there was one picture that I never saw before, a photo of my dad and uncle with a woman and a man beside them. The woman had black medium size length hair and blue eyes while the man had black brown hair and brown eyes. The necklace that the woman had said Angel and for some reason this woman looked familiar. "Hey dad? Who are these people who are next to you and Uncle Hisaki?" I asked and showed him the photo. My dad looked at it and narrowed his eyes trying to remember. "They were friends from high-school and college. I don't remember much about them but Hisaki does. He spent most of his time chasing after that woman, but she was engaged to that guy. I don't remember there names though." I nodded and thought of asking my uncle when he comes to visit. I sighed as my mind drifted and started thinking of Akaki. "I miss her." I muttered and my eyes widened as I said that. "I miss her?" I small smile crept to my lips as if I had a revelation and I started placing a name to this feeling. The urge to hold her in my arms and the thought of her being with me together. 'I love her! I love Akaki!' I laughed softly as I picked up my phone to call her and after five tries she answered. "What?" Although her tone sounded annoyed I missed it. "Akaki.." I said and she asked what I wanted. "Akaki.." her name sounded so heavenly that I scolded myself for not saying her name more. "What is it? If you don't state your business I'm hanging up." She growled and I smiled thinking of her angry cute expression. "I miss you." The line was silent but I didn't feel insecure or embarrassed. "Are you drunk?" She asked and I could hear her voice quiver. "Yeah." I responded in hopes she would come but I knew she wouldn't. "Where are you?" I was startled at first but my smile widened in happiness. I told her where I would be and waited beside an alleyway, it was getting dark and air got chilly. People walking out of stores and some holding hands to warm their partner. I saw Akaki walking towards me and she inspected me narrowing her eyes. "You tricked me. You said you were drunk but I see that you're standing perfectly fine." She said turning around halfway before I turned her around and hugged her. "I missed you." I said burying my face of her back making her tense up. "Akaki, I-" Akaki stopped me before I continued. "Dont say something you'll regret." She stated in a firm tone. "What?" "You heard me. Don't say anything you will regret." She repeated. "How do you know what I will say? Why do you think I'll regret it? What if this is my true feelings?" I asked hurt. "Daniel, you're an officer and I'm a criminal." She said and I sighed sadly. "Akaki you're you're not a criminal. You helped people, you didn't harm anyone. You explained everything to me, your hands are clean." I stated and she scoffed. "I broke the law, the police considers me a villain. What will the police and everyone think when they realize that you are with a criminal." "Then stop doing it! Forget about your ancestors line of job, do what you want to do in life. Be free, be with me." I said holding her hands and she took them back. "Daniel, I will not stop just because you are telling me to. If I tell you to stop being an officer, will you do it?!" She asked trying to prove a point. "Yes! I'll give up everything for you! I can even help you with what you're doing. I can-" she pushed me against the brick wall with an angry expression that I never seen before. "Help me make plans?! Leave your civilian life so that you can supposedly life the rest of your life with me?! And then what leave me for another woman who can give you a normal child! To then abandon and insult me and our child and betray me! No! No! I will not let history repeat itself!" Akaki had a terrifying expression that it seemed she would kill with that look. Her eyes were filled with rage and anger, to calm her anger and fury I softly grabbed her face with watery eyes. "Akaki..." I whispered and I could feel her eyes soften for a split second. "I love you." Her eyes widened at my words. "I don't know when it happened but this feeling is getting stronger. I feel like my whole world lights up when you're near me. I want to uncover you one by one to know who you really are. You make me feel like no one else can." I told her and she didn't look at me. "I don't feel the same." Her words struck me like a knife through my chest. "I don't love you, actually I hate you. Your family is the reason for my parents downhill. I hate every single member of your family because they ruined mine's. I never loved you I only led you on. That's what criminals do, they lead their victims on and in the end they strike their prey without mercy." Akaki smiled wickedly. "Don't say that! You're lying, you also love me! You also can't hate my family, you don't hate Inaya." I said shaking her arms but she laughed. "Inaya isn't your family, even if she was adopted to your family she has her own. Daniel I detest your bloodline to the point that I want to puke." Akaki left and rain started pouring down.
Third Person POV People ran to find shelter from the rain. Daniel sat down on the concrete floor with tears mixing down with the droplets of rain. He held his head rocking himself back and forth processing what Akaki had told him, the words hurted his heart to the point he screamed in agony. Akaki who was in another alleyway stood still with tears. "I was the one who cut it off, and yet this weight on my heart is only getting heavier." She clutched her heart as she wailed her heart out. She couldn't respond to Daniel's feelings because he didn't know who she really was. She didn't want history to repeat itself like her mom's life was. Akaki loved Daniel but she wouldn't accept the fact that he would have to hide she was a criminal. "I also love you, Daniel." She walked away towards Rena's house all drenched. Mamoru went to welcome her but quickly went to catch her when Akaki started falling from the cold rain. Daniel went home after a while and collapsed on the doorstep causing his dad and Inaya to quickly pull him inside. "Daniel! What's wrong!" The star crossed lovers were nursed and they both dreamed of each other hoping that what they experiences was just a nightmare. Rena who had seen your expression could guess what happened. Akaki had to give up on her love for revenge and that was the most hurtful thing that destiny took from her. "I'm sorry Akaki but this is for the better." Rena muttered as she could not see two families who were enemies together. The past can not be erased but the future can be changed as long at Hisaki is dead.
