the worst decision i've ever made
was always the best
it gave me the world
but it was only earth
i saw the possibilities
endless, exciting, better
made me want
then made me need
so much that my world
felt worthless
it dulled my life
and the bright colors
of possibility and life
became the bane of my existence
where i saw hope
i now only see what i miss
what i miss is something
that i have never known
but have imagined
and that is enough to dull
anything and everything
