i was blue
vibrant and loud
but at the end of the day, lonely
all the people having left the sand
yet i still had the waves stability
melancholic and forgiving

she was yellow
gorgeous and uncontainable
she was all you thought about
the sun incomparable
to her pure loving light

she was the one thing
that could make me selfish
for i knew she was too good for me
but i could never get enough

our green was magnificent
it was Earth's innocence
but this time safe and infinite
i could drown in it everyday
over, and over
it was what heaven was made of
and angels wished to be

but our green was too holy
and too pure with its intentions
for the world to love our love
and so the green was banished
thus the trees died
along with me, along with her
for i could never live without green
much less want
