she never realized how impressionable she was
until she was faced between either
acceptance and bastardization
so she said those things
regret hidden behind the hope of acceptance
she used their cruel, malicious jokes
to hurt others as others had done unto her
she displayed hateful acts
with ease, and confidence
only so that they'd welcome her
they however did no such thing
and she soon realized
she'd morphed herself into the one thing
that she despised the most in the world
