Willow POV
Nick fell to one knee, fist placed on the ground and he continued to pant. We rushed to his side as fast as our bruised bodies would allow us.

He coughed into his other and and spat some blood onto the ground as me and Gus helped him to his feet.

"Where are eda and Luz?" He asked between pants.

"They went to go help Amity." I answer him.

"They left a few minutes ago." Gus adds.

Nick grunts as he leaves our support and stands on his own. "Then we need to go after them."

"But they're too long gone by now, we won't catch up." I protest.

"Knowing Alador and Odalia they would've figured out Amity is vulnerable and has set a trap. We need to get to them, Luz is a kid, as is Amity and Eda is too drained to fight. If the blight parents fight them they'll only last so long."

"Yeah but..." Gus begins before getting cut off by Nick yelling.

"Look Lilith got away and soon enough she would've informed the emperor and gotten reinforcements, if we don't move now we might  not get another chance!"

Me and Gus looked at each other before nodding. "All right let's save amity!" I announce and Nick gives a weak smile.

"What do we do about them?" Gus asks, pointing at the twins, unconscious on the ground.

"Well we can't very well leave them here can we." Nick says as he draws a spell circle and 2 clones appear. They each pick up one of the twins and throw them over their shoulder.

"Are you going send them back to the owl house?" I ask, curious as to what Nick intends.

He simply shakes his head. "Clones won't reach that far before disappearing. Plus if they wake up they could still be being mind controlled and then we'd lose track of them, we need to bring them with us."

And with that we make our way towards blight manor.

Luz POV
I look at Amity to see an expression of both betrayal and confusion. I on the other hand felt nothing but anger towards the blue haired girl standing before us.

"Zoe what are you talking about?" Amity said, her voice as quiet as a leaf falling but the utter disbelief clear in her tone.

Zoe just rolled her eyes and scoffed cruelly. "You haven't figured it out blight? I thought you were smart."

"Shut up!" I growled at her.

Zoe's eyes shifted to me. "Oh? Does the human have something to add?"

"Why are you doing this?" Amity asked.

"Tis nothing personal Amity." Zoe says with a cruel smile "just following orders."

"Wrap it up." Alador growled but Zoe ignored him.

"What do you mean orders?" I asked. "Orders from who?"

"It's whom." Zoe smirked. "And the orders came from our all mighty emperor."

"Why? What does he want?" I ask, growing impatient with Zoe's games.

"Well he asked me to assist the Blight parents for a while at their request." She said gesturing to the people behind her, who also seemed to be growing impatient.

"You see." Zoe said, continuing her monologue. "Our dearest Amity had been rumoured to be fraternising with a human so I was sent to investigate, to pose as a fellow student, to gather information and to...steer her, back in the right direction."
