"Oh, fuck."
I reach to cover my eyes from blinding sunlight, a headache immediately set in my head.
Once I adjust to the light, I move my hand to Alex's bare chest. God, his body is amazing.
He wakes shortly, looking over to me with a smile. So bright...
"Morning, love." I say, reluctantly sitting up.
"Morning, Izu."
I chuckle at the nickname, but I like it. Cute.
I open my phone to see the time, and I almost freak out about being late for school. Then I realize it's a weekend, and I don't need to go to that shit hole in the first place.
I stand slowly, ignoring the beating pain in my head. Damn, we really went all out last night. I dress in simply grey sweatpants and boxers, not bothering with a shirt.
I turn back to my sleeping beauty. "Hey, Alex. Get up, I'll make breakfast."
He blushes for some reason, turning away from me.
"I uhh... I don't think I can..."
I have to register this for a moment before I break out laughing, walking to his side of the stained bed.
Just as I'm about to pick him up bride style, the door slams open.
We're greeted with Jake's wild grin. "Oi, lovebirds! Come on, Kira made food!"
"When did you guys get back? Also, quiet down a little." I say, picking up Alex and letting him wrap his arms around my neck.
"Pretty early, I think. Around three am?"
"Wow," I follow Jake to my dining room, "did we miss anything?"
"Well... Tessa kinda got into another fight... we cleared it up though!" He says hurriedly, waving his arms like Lida. Ugh, I wonder if he pulled out that stick up his ass.
I set Alex down on a seat, earning a few weird looks.
"Hm? Oh, he's just having some trouble walking." I snicker, and Alex punches me playfully while hiding an embarrassed blush.
"Heh right..." Jake says grinning between the two of us.
I hear a quiet mumble from Kira, "Ugh, too many couples. Gonna barf..."
I laugh, although I'm probably the only one who caught it.
"Well then, shall we?"
We all dig in, reminiscing about last night and our plans for the day.
I finish cleaning in the kitchen and take my seat again, pulling out yet another cigarette. I hear Jake mumble something, looking up from my lighter.
"Huh?"
Jake looks up, eyes squeezed shut. "I said, why don't we move in together!" He rambled, successfully gathering our attention.
"That sounds awesome!" I say, grinning at the thought.
"Yeah, let's do it!"
"Sounds great!"
"Better be thick walls..." I think you can guess who commented that.
I snicker at the comment, smirking at Alex slightly. He wasn't bad at all, although he's definitely a bottom. Jake's probably a bottom too...
"Well then, who about we spend the day doing some research?"
"Sounds good. I'll look into finances." Kira states, followed by Alex and then me.
"I'll compare apartments buildings and houses."
"I'll help with whatever!"
"Heh, have fun! I'll go get the snacks!" We all send Jake an evil glare, knowing this as an attempt to escape work. "Fine... I'll be back..." his posture slumps in silent protest, but he hurries to the kitchen and back.
An hour later, we're almost decided.
"How about this big place on the south side, where crime rates are up? We could capture a lot more villains if we were directly in the crossfire."
"That's a really good idea. It'd better be close to downtown though!" Kira puts in, while we nod our heads to Alex's suggestion.
We gather around the tv, peering at multiple pictures of a large, brick building. It looks near new, the interior modern and clean. The house is guarded by a large wall with spikes, and there's even a pool out back!
It isn't too expensive, especially with all five of us pitching in.
"Perfect!"
"Yeah! it's close to downtown, too. It's not too far from school, although we can just teleport."
"Sounds great to me."
"Then it's settled!" Tessa declares, dialing the real estate agent's number in her phone. In minutes, we have a meeting set up to buy the huge house.
Now this is going to crazy fun.
