Heeseung's POV

The teacher came in and I awkwardly walked back to my seat which was beside y/n.

Heeseung: "he-hey"

Y/N: "h-hi"

Frick! We were fine a while ago but now that I know I love her it's really weird.

Teacher: "ok students take out your notebooks and and open to page 167 this will be the start of our new lesson so please take down notes" y/n frowned but took her book and notebook and started writing down whatever the teacher was saying

Y/N: "aren't you gonna write down notes?" I snapped out of my little trance. I didn't realize I was staring at her.

Heeseung: "h-huh oh ye-yeah!" I got out my notebook and book and smiled cheekily

Y/N: "much better cause I'm not gonna share with you my notes" she smirked

Heeseung: "yah! That's mean"

Y/N: "yeah but you still love me" she scrunched her nose and went near my face then she looked down on her notebook and continued writing. I know she was just joking but she made my heart start pounding and my fave is heat up. I look like a tomato right now! I quickly looked back at my notebook so she wouldn't notice. But yes I do love you

Y/N's POV

That slipped out of my mouth! I didn't mean to say he loves me! I mean we both know that I was joking but... I still wanted to say it to see if he would say it ba-

Heeseung: "yeah I do, I love you" he smiled and looked back at the board

Did he just- we both know we were joking but a part of me still hoped he wasn't.

<time skip class is done>

Yeji: "oh y/n we're eating with Enhypen so just follow!!" Before I could say anything she rushed out and clung onto Jake's arm. What the- are they dating already?

Heeseung: "by the way I noticed this a while ago but did you get a bruise on your face recently?" What? Did my moms slap bruise? She did hit me harder than usual but I didn't think it would bruise

Y/N: "o-oh I don't think so, probably dirt or something" I faked laugh but he didn't believe me

Heeseung: "you sure I don't think-"

Y/N: "I'm fine just- just respect my privacy please" he was taken aback but he softened his expression

Heeseung: "so-sorry I should've realized" I nodded. I felt bad so I thought I'd be cheerful to let him know it was fine

Y/N: "let's go?" I clung onto his arm, he looked surprised at first but then smiled

Heeseung: "let's go!" We smiled and made our way to the cafeteria.

Boy: "are they dating?"

Boy1: "dang it I thought I could date y/n"

Girl: "is that bitch with Heeseung oppa?"

Girl1: "I thought they were enemies?" We heard all sorts of comments but we pretended we didn't hear it since if we pointed it out it'd be awkward

<cafeteria>

We sat down and all of them were smirking. I gave them a shut-up face and they rolled their eyes but their smirks are still on their faces.

Jake: "guys I have something to say" he looked nervous

Y/N: "what is it?"

Yeji: "we're dating" we balled our eyes out but then laughed. Well we did kinda expect it

Sunghoon: "finally!"

Jake: "huh?"

Jay: "it was obvious you guys like each other so sooner or later we knew you'd end up together"

Y/N: "yah! Why didn't you tell me! I'm your sister! And you're my bestfriend!" I pouted playfully

Yeji: "sorry! We wanted it to be a surprise" they both blushed and kissed

Niki: "ugh guys, we're still single you know"

Sunoo: "yeah!"

Jungwon: "but I think there's a couple that I'm expecting soon" he smirked and the others did as well. They all looked at me and Heeseung and we both blushed. They chuckled and we continued eating and talking. Although Heeseung never denied it and neither did I

<time skip last class>

Y/N's POV

It was the last class and finally we get to go home! But what's the point I'm gonna study again.

Teacher: "alright before I dismiss you I will be announcing the rankings" I totally forgot about that! Shit! I prayed to the Lord I'd be number 1 in class if not I'm dead meat "some of your rankings have changed and some have maintained it I'll start from the last to the first" she announced people and slowly but surely it was in the top 10 area

Teacher: "ok now rank 10 is...Sim Jake!" Wow for the first time he's in the top 10 *chuckle* "rank 9 is Yang Jungwon" then she went on and on "rank 8 is Kim Sunoo" "rank 7 is Nishimura Niki" "rank 6 is Park Jay" "rank 5 is Park Sunghoon" "rank 4 is Taki" huh one of my other classmates but I don't know him "rank 3 is Hwang Yeji" I looked over at her and smiled widely

Yeji: "omg I'm in the top 3! My parents are gonna be-" she stopped and looked at me like she made a mistake.

Y/N: "it's ok" I smiled and she did too

Teacher: "rank 2 is..." my heart started beating out of my chest. "Rank 2 is Sim Y/N" I slumped down on my chair. I'm so done for "and lastly rank 1 is Lee Heeseung" as expected. I look over to Jake Sunghoon and Yeji and they all gave me a worried look. Gosh I feel like crying. I don't even wanna go home anymore. My happy mood since school is finished to the worst mood ever.

Yeji: "it's gonna be ok" she hugged me but I didn't hug back. I wanted to but I just didn't have the strength to. I just kept thinking about how much my moms gonna beat me up later.

Heeseung's POV

Yes! Rank 1! I smiled widely and I was gonna congratulate y/n for being rank 2 but I saw Yeji sad hugging her. Why though? I was about to tap her shoulder but Yeji death glared me so I backed away.

Teacher: "ok class dismissed!" All the students started going out so it was only us and the group left. Jake and Sunghoon ran to y/n right away pushing me aside.

Y/N's POV

Sunghoon: "y/n?" I look up and see Jake, Yeji and Sunghoon looking at me. They all hugged me and I hugged back with teary eyes

Heeseung: "y/n? Are you crying?"

Y/N: "what n-no!" I said breaking the hug "just dust" I chuckled fakely

Jay: "ok but then why don't you look happy?"

Y/N: "no no I am just- just overwhelmed you know hahaha" I gave them a big smile

Sunoo: "well since all of us are in the top 10 you guys wanna go out and celebrate?"

Sunghoon: "sorry I can't family plans"

Yeji: "same here"

Jake: "yeah me and y/n have to go somewhere too"

Jungwon: "awww man! Let's just celebrate next time ok?" They all agreed and we left. My heart started beating fast with the nervousness of what my moms gonna do at home.
