Note: Hello everyone. Happy Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day (I'm very late lol ;P) Thanks for 500+ views. Even though I'm busy with entrance exam I'll try to find more time to write this fanfic. I must be going now. Hope you enjoy my work. <3

Link POV:

The rito, Avian. He seems to be baffled about something that I didn't know about. Did I do something wrong? I'm sure I didn't say anything bad, am I? but the surprise in his face makes me a bit confuse as to why he's surprise. his beak wide open in disbelief. He shook himself from his amazement and start to talk.

"O-Oh Uhhh, I-I'm sorry I'm just surprise that you ask me something. that's all." He said apologizing.

"You seem to be the type to not talk around stranger. While training you didn't say anything even when you in front of the princess and his majesty you didn't utter a single word. So, I'm sorry that I assume you to be mute or that you rather stay quiet to avoid inconvenient." He quickly added scratching his head in a cute, embarrassing way.

I was kinda taken aback by that but what he said isn't exactly false either. My dad always says that I'm a weird kid. I don't talk or show my emotion at all while I'm around others but if I'm quite acquaintance with someone I'll show my emotion for a bit and very rarely talk to them. But for some unbeknown reason, I can't keep that kind of demeaner around this particular rito. It was like the rito said the reason I don't talk much is because to avoid inconvenient but how does he know this? Before I get a chance to ask him. He beat me to it.

"Well to answer your previous question from before. To be honest, I don't know either. I assume that your father told you about my story by now, didn't he?" I quickly nodded eyes full of sympathy.

"So, I'm sorry that I can't answer your question." He looks down a bit.

"It's okay" I answered.

"But I must admit even though you don't know where your sword skill came from you are very good at it," I complimented him. Did I see his father fluff up there? Or was it my imagination.

"I'm just an amateur sword wielder, I don't think I deserve a praise from someone who have been training since childhood like you. But thank you for the compliment anyway." He said thanking me while giving the biggest smile that he can give.

"So, Link I want to.... ask you something." he asked. I just stare at him letting him continue on what he wants to ask.

"Why did you touch my wing earlier?" He asked giving me a devilish grin. My ears start to turn red. I thought he would have forgot about that. He sees how I react and start laughing.

"H-Hey quit it. I just curious, that's all" I answered. He eventually stops laughing.

"I have seen many adult rito come and go around our village. When I see them, I always think of how their feathers feel around them." I said being honest of how I want to feel their feathers for once in life.

"Oh, so that why you touch my wing. You could have asked me about it." He said and start stretching one of wings toward me. Making me confuse.

"Go on I won't bite but if you plucked one of my feathers out, you'll be in a world of pain." He said inviting me to try and touch his feathers which make me shock.

"B-But.... You don't mind?" I asked him unsure of what I need to do.

"I don't mind one bit, go ahead." He said confirming his invitation.

I know for a fact that when I touch his wing previously uninvited, it was soft. But it was just a sudden touch but now that I get to touch it for real his feathers is so soft and fluffy. The warm that it gives off is so cozy. Now I wish I'm a rito. Eventually I let go of his wing.
