Chapter 7 A tour and an unexpected guest

King Rhoam POV:

Watching him leaving with the others, escorting him to his destination. Avian, he's so young, so little and still can't take on this harsh world. I feel remorse for him. He's doesn't remember his family. Just what happened to him exactly? He just ended up in the middle of Hyrule Field. No memories. Just a name to himself. Something major must have happened to him. Perhaps a trauma experiences? If the experience that he has is very bad it can lead to have Amnesia but this theory doesn't explain how he ended up in the middle of the field. Poor fledgling.

I have decided that Avian will live with us here in the castle for a week then we will escort him to Rito Village. Unfortunately, I have business to attend to at Hateno Village and Zora's Domain so that need to be put off for now I hope Avian don't mind me taking him with me. I hope once we reach Rito Village safely. He can learn more about his race, about his family, maybe just about himself in general or hopefully recalling some lost memories. If not then he has to start a new life with a new family but for now I need to take care of him and protect him.

I can't help but feel that Avian have something special hidden away. Power? The confirmation of him fighting those monsters and came out almost unscathed is one thing but I am not sure just yet. Or perhaps information? Right now, I can't jump to conclusion. We'll have to wait and see. I'll keep an eye on him.

Zelda POV:

While me and Clare guiding him to his room. I look at Avian. He's just awing at everything that he sees. It is quite cute but his story from earlier about himself, his life, his family. He doesn't remember it at all. When I first hear about his story it makes me surprise that he doesn't remember anything but that feeling quickly turn to sadness. He's in much worse shape then me in term of family that is. Right now, the best that I could do is keeping him company and try not to make him feel like he is alone.

Now that he has heal up. I might ask him a couple of my own questions but I don't know if he would even know the answer to it. Amnesia and all. Should I ask him now? Or Should I wait a little longer. I start fidgeting my finger before I feel someone tapping me on my shoulder but it feels weird the tapping is really light. It almost feels like feathers? Looking up to see who it is. What I saw made me startle a bit. I see Avian looking at me tilting his head a bit. His beak is so close almost touching my face.

"Princess, Are you alright? You seem nervous." He asked me. Backing himself up a bit.

"O-oh um I-It's nothing. I-I just have a lot of thing on my mind. That's all. I didn't mean to worry you." I answer back.

"Well.... You've been looking at me the entire time. Princess" what he said throw me off a bit. He notices it but he didn't mention until now? I thought he just admire the surrounding but it seems that I was wrong.

"I-I didn't mean to and please just call me Zelda. We're friend after all." I told him that. I want him to look at me as friend not as Princess.

"Okay if that what you want Zelda." After he finish that question. He smiles at me. How can he be this cute. It's illegal.

"hmmm.... You got me thinking.... You always looking at me.... So, let me guess. Are you curious about me?" this comment got me

"H-How did you know?!?!" I scream out hiding my face in my hand from embarrassment. My reaction gets me a laugh from Avian which sound like a chirping from a bird. It is quite calming to hear him laughing.

"Now now calm down your highness. There's nothing to be embarrassed about that beside I'll be staying here in this castle with you for a week so it is crucial to get to know each other." He answers trying to make me feel better. While this is going on Clare's just looking at us with a sweet smile on her face.
