"there was definitely something off about that guy!" though my expression naturally did not change, it didnt stop me from internally screaming.

"uwaa, that guy had a really scary look!" this was one of the few times i was thankful for this skeletal body of mine that didnt sweat or expressed emotions...

"is something the matter, ainz-sama?"

"AAHHH!" i screamed internally and almost jumped out of my seat when albedo's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

it seems this action triggered my emotion suppressor as green light enveloped me and i could feel all my previous anxiety and strong emotions slip away.

i look over to my right and albedo was staring at me with a concerned look, it appears she was able to read my expressionless face, even though i have the perfect poker face.

i wonder if this is what they call, ''a woman's intuition?''

" women are scary..."

"umu, im fine, i was just thinking about, uh...stuff, umu." i pretended to be in deep thought, hoping she would just mistake it as me being in one of my, "wisdom moments" again.

honestly, how high they think of me seriously hurts...

the green light once again enveloped me, and like before, i once again regain my ability to think clearly.

"but truthfully, I was definitely sensing something from that guy , not to mention those clothes he was wearing..."

*sigh*

there's still too much we dont know about this new world, not to mention i still need to figure out who used a world-class item on shalltear, and that guy from just now gives me bad vibes. its probably best to assume there are stronger foes in this world as well as more players with world-class items.

it would be foolish to assume im the only player that got teleported here!

and although I want to have demiurge and albedo investigate that guy, what if it turns out that my hunch is wrong?

just the thought of their expression when they realize im not all they claim me to be...

*green light once again envelops him*

in order to avoid disappointing their image of me, its best i discreetly investigate him myself. luckily, i can gather information about him from the people using momon.

*sigh*

as my new palace came into view, all i could think about was taking a nice slime bath to relax and resting on my bed.

though my body didnt require any sleep, the mental fatigue was still a dilemma i had to deal with.
