part 5 - accelerator vs zesshi

                       "here i come...my darling~...."

             unnamed land / accelerator vs zesshi

a calming breeze reverberated throughout the post-apocalyptic looking battlefield.

despite the wind being calming and relaxing, everyone could feel the immense tension in the air as they all watched the two strongest on that battlefield standing face-to-face.

having heard the news that this fight was being broadcasted to all the top figures of the slane theocracy via information magic, the black scripture members grew wary of how this fight could develop as well as influence the future of its nation, if their strongest weapon loses here.

accelerator and zesshi stared at each other, one with an evil grin and the other with a deadpanned look. the air felt tense as both were waiting for the other to make a move...

"then here i come...my darling..." she says as she prepares to attack.

"*sigh* honestly, how did we get here..." accelerator lets out an exasperated sigh as he whispers to himself.

[greater ability boost] [gale acceleration]

zesshi activated her martial arts before taking off at inhumane speed, closing the distance between her and accelerator in just two steps.

"they're starting!" the 2nd seat voiced out the obvious.

zesshi swung her scythe up vertically to slash accelerator, who effortlessly dodges by tilting his body to the side. zesshi however, doesnt falter and immediately switches the handle on her scythe before swinging it horizontally, looking to take his head. accelerator once again avoids this by tilting his head back, dodging the strike by a few inches. 

even then, she still doesnt let up, and activates another martial art [flow acceleration]. her speed and attacks shot-straight up to the point where the scythe in her hand became nothing more than a blur as she continuously throws onslaught after onslaught at the esper.

despite all of this, accelerator was dodging every strike with minimum movements, utterly shocking those watching.

"a-amazing..." the 5th seat whispered under his breath.

everyone was amazed while watching the intense battle. they couldnt tell who was more amazing, person who could dish out such precise yet high-speed attacks, or the person who kept dodging those attacks so fluently.

not one member dared to take their eyes off the battlefield, in fear that they might miss who emerges victorious.

"zesshi-san really is amazing..." the 4th seat says, while watching the battle intently.

"ya, but that guy...i never even knew he could move like that. he's dodging every strike..." the 2nd seat added, not taking his eyes off the battle.

"they are both amazing..."

the truth is accelerator really couldnt move like that.

despite this girl wearing heavy looking armor on her arm and leg and wielding that huge scythe, her initial speed and physical strength still far surpassed accelerator's.

so how is it that accelerator is able to dodge everyone of her attacks like that?

the answer to that is his new ability!

though i call it new ability, all it really is, is a new formula which he created using martial arts as a blueprint.

accelerator cant reflect magic nor use magic, he learned that while experimenting back in the sorcerer kingdom, thats why he's quite thankful at the introduction of martial arts.
