Suddenly from the apartment across the hall, I could hear more loud noises. Something was definitely going on. I hesitate before stepping farther into the hall, stopping to stand just in front of the apartment.

However, before I could bring myself to knock on the door, the door suddenly swings open on its own. I quickly back away, as I am now standing face to face with a tall guy with a scar on his face.

He looked scary, almost like a gangster.

"Who are you?" He asks me, and gives an intimidating glare.

"S-Sorry. It's just that I heard some loud noises, and things falling." I start off,

"I was just coming to check if everything was alright." I quickly mumble.

"I knocked something from a shelf, and the noise was the tv." The man tells me, before quickly reentering the apartment and slamming the door shut behind him.

I stand there for a few moments, hearing the familiar click of the apartment door locking itself.

"What's wrong with him?" I question, as I turn back to my apartment

Once inside the apartment, I see that everything is cleaned up now, aside from a few items thatI would take in a box with me.

I looked out the window, seeing that it was getting late.

"It's getting late, I should hurry home." I say to myself.

Quickly rushing around the apartment, I grab all of the garbage bags, dragging them out of the apartment. The building manager had told me that I could leave the bags outside the door and that he would send someone to clean it later.

Grabbing my bag, and the box of items, I take one last look around the now empty apartment. I sigh, before making my way to the door. However, I'm stopped when my foot hits something.

I look down at the ground, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing besides a floor board that seemed to be more raised then the rest. But upon further inspection, it seemed as if the floor board could be removed.

Putting my bag and box onto the floor, I kneel down, taking a closer look at the floorboard. I reach out my hand, grabbing hold of the edge of the wooden plank. Sure enough, the plank lifted up, revealing a whole underneath the floorboards.
