You are (Y/N) Black. You are currently in your 6th year, but all of your friends and your older brother (Sirius) are 7th years. You are in the 7th year girls' dorm, since you are really close with Marlene and Alice. You are the 5th marauder and prank with the boys alot. You have a crush on James, but he is dating Lily so you try to step back even though you are jealous.
*Your POV*
"Come on!" I said as we raced through the corridors.
We (me and James) had set off dungbombs in Filch's office and were running from Mrs. Norris. Yes, we were running from a cat. But can you blame us? She was a very bitchy cat. We stopped in a seccluded corridor to catch our breath but what we saw made me gasp. There was Lily and Severus, snogging. I glanced at James, whose face was red with anger, before he stormed right past them toward the commonroom. The two pulled apart and Lily had guilt in her eyes, but she didn't speak. I rushed after James, making sure to send a glare at the 'couple' as I passed.
I found James, angrily pacing in his dorm.
"James?" I asked softly.
He looked over at me before sitting on his bed, hands pressed against his face. I walked over, sitting next to him as I rubbed hiss back.
"She doesn't deserve you." I said.
"I honestly don't even like her that much. I was just trying to get someone else's attention." He said, removing his hands from his face to look at me.
"Really, who?" I asked. I couldn't help but feel a little hope rise in my chest.
"I can't tell you." He said, blushing and looking away.
"Have you told (Y/N) that you like her- oh shit." Sirius said, barging into the room. His eyes widened when he saw me.
"I- um- I'm gonna go find Moony." He said before rushing out of the room, slamming the door.
I stared at James in shock as he avoided my gaze, curantly blushing like a madman.
"Y-you like me?" I stuttered.
James took a deep breath before speaking, still avoiding my gaze.
"Yeah, always have." He said.
"I like you, too, James." I said, smiling softly.
James looked up at me in shock.
"Really?" He asked.
"Really." I confirmed, kissing him on the cheek.
He smiled before grabbing me and kissing me on the mouth. We were interrupted by someone clapping and we pulled apart blushing.
"Finally." Remus said as he and Sirius stood in the doorway.
"You hurt her, best friend or not, I will kill you." Sirius threatened causing me to laugh.
"Calm down, Siri." I teased.
