   You are (Y/N) Malfoy, the younger sister of Draco Malfoy by a year. You are a Slytherin in your 6th year at Hogwarts. You have a crush on Ginny but she kinda hates you.

*Your POV*

   I slouched in my seat as several of my classmates glared at me as we sat in our charms class. Ever since deatheaters took over Hogwarts, everyone seemed to hate me.

"Malfoy and Weasley." It only took a second for the pairing to be announced for Ginny to protest.

"But Professor!" She exclaimed.

"No buts Miss Weasley, all partners are final." McGonagall said.

   Ginny groaned, glaring harshly at me. It's not like this was my fault!

"Your assignments are due a week from today. You and your partner must set up a place and time to meet. Class is dismissed."

   I sighed, packing my stuff into my bag. Ginny begrudgingly stomped over to my desk.

"Meet me in the library after dinner." She grumbled before storming off.

   That went fairly well. To be honest, I thought she would make me do the whole project on my own.

~~~
   Dinner past quickly and I found my way to the library. I got out everything I thought that we might need and sat down at an empty table. It took twenty minutes for Ginny to show up. I glanced up at her as she sat down.
"I would say that I'm sorry I'm late, but I'm really not." The redhead said, setting her bag on the table.
   I internally groaned.
"All we really have to do is find and learn the spell to turn a piece of parchment into a candle, which makes no sense but-" I shrugged, rolling up my sleeves before opening a book.
"I'm surprised you don't have the mark." Ginny said, looking down at my arm.
   I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
"Sometimes, its best to not judge someone by their family. I thought that you'd be someone who would know that." I shot back.
"Your family and mine are totally different." Ginny said, glaring at me.
"Yeah, you're lucky enough to have a family that actually cares about you. Now, if you don't mind, we ought to get to work. Here's the spell."
"Um, yeah." Ginny said, staring at me, surprise evident on her face.
~~~
   When we entered Mcgonagall's classroom a week later, she told us we had to sit with our partners. I awkwardly looked at Ginny as I sat down. She hadn't been harsh on me lately, which was weird.

"What I said last week-"

"It's fine. I'd like to say that I'm used to it, but I'm really not." I cut her off.

"Can speak with you after class?" She asked.

"I s'pose." I said, glancing up at her.

   Ginny drug me into an abandoned classroom as we both kept an eye out for the Carrows.

"I really am sorry, about last week." She said awkwardly.

"It's fine." I said, seating myself on a desk, patting the spot next to me.

   Ginny hesitantly sat down.

"I-um-suppose I was just scared when I realized that I had a crush on the girl who was supposed to hate me." She said, avoiding eye contact.

"Is it weird that I like you, even though you were a git to me?" I asked softly, making her look at me surprised.

"Wait, really?" Ginny asked.

"Mhm." I smiled.

"That's great!" She exclaimed excitedly before realizing that could get us caught.

   I wouldn't get in trouble, but she sure would.

"We should get to our next class." Ginny said quietly with a large smile on her face.

   I smiled, kissing her on the cheek as I hopped off the desk.

"I'll see you later, Ginny." I said, walking out of the room.
