You are (Y/N) (L/N). You are supposed to be in your 7th year at Hogwarts, but Harry, Hermione, and Ron were going out to search for the Horcruxes instead and you knew you had to go with them. You have had a huge crush on Ron ever since first year, but he's too oblivious to notice. You've only told Hermione and Harry about your crush, causing them to constantly tease you over it.

*Your POV*

I don't even know how long it has been since we had gone on our suicide mission. We had gotten a locket, but hadn't figured out how to destroy it yet. Until we figured out how we would do it, we were all taking turns wearing the locket to protect it. It didn't take long for me to realize the changes it was causing upon the wearer. If they had been wearing it too long, they would get grouchy and try to pick a fight with the others. When this happened, the other three of us would try to get the necklace off of the as fast as we could, before anything bad happened. One day, thought, we weren't quick enough.

Hermione and I were sitting outside talking when we heard arguing from inside the tent. We shared a glance before hurrying inside to see both boys extremely angry. Hermione and I got inbetween them, trying to break the eye contact that the two were holding. It worked a little bit, but they were both still mad.

"You've been wearing the necklace too long." I said to Ron, but he only pushed me away.

"I'm leaving. Are you coming with me?" He asked.

"I can't leave them." I said.

"I knew you wouldn't care." Ron grumbled, ripping off the necklace and storming out of the tent.

I hurried after him, trying to fight back tears.

"Ronald!" I exclaimed.

He only glanced at me before apperating to who knows where. I fell to the ground sobbing. Moments later, Hermione wrapped her arms around me, trying to calm me down.

The next morning, I woke up to see that Harry was missing.

"Hermione, where's Harry?" I asked, looking around for the idiot who happened to be known as "the-boy-who-lived".

"Hmmm?" Hermione asked, half asleep as she sat up in her "bed".

"Harry's gone." I said, making her eyes snap open.

We both climbed out of bed, and ran out of the tent to search for Harry. Ron already left, we can't lose Harry too. Hermione and I seperated to look for the boys. After searching for a little while, wand in hand, I saw them about a hundred yards infront of me. I started sprinting towards them, careful not to trip over any branches on the ground. I was almost to them when I realized that something was wrong. The two boys were surrounded by Deatheaters. Harry's face was swelled up, and you could hardly tell that it was him. Ron and I locked eyes as I crept closer. Me being the clumsy person I am, I stepped on a twig. It snapped, alerting the Deatheaters of my presence. Before I could even raise my wand, a spell was sent my way, launching me backwards into a tree. My head hit the trunk hard, and darkness quickly enveloped me.

When I woke up, I felt a sharp pain in my arm while the rest of my body ached mercilessly. (I know she would've obviously woken up if the Crucio curse was used on her, but I don't really want to write a torture scene.) I could hear yelling as I slowly opened my eyes. I was laying on the floor of a large room, people fighting all around me. It took me a moment to recognise them. The trio was fighting against a group of deatheaters, and all I could do was watch. My body hurt too much to move, so I just layed there helplessly.

Ron glanced over to me, realizing that I was awake. He narrowly dodged a curse as he tried to make his way towards me. Harry and Hermione, knowing what he was doing, shielded us from the deatheaters' attacks. As soon as Ron got to me, he picked me up bridal style and apparated. We appeared outside a cozy looking cottage. Only a momment later, Harry and Hermione were beside us as Fleur rushed out of the cottage.

"Oh dear! Bring her inside!" She exclaimed.

I clung tightly to Ron's shirt as he carried me into the cottage. Fleur led the way upstairs, having Ron lay me down on a bed. I only now noticed the bloody mark on my arm that was, no doubt, going to leave a scar. As Fleur gently cleaned my arm, Ron moved to leave.

"Please stay." I said softly, gripping his hand.

He nodded, sitting down next to me as he rubbed his thumb against the back of my hand. After cleaning and bandaging my arm, and giving me a potion to sooth the pain, Fleur left to start preparing dinner.

"I'm so sorry." Ron said, breaking the silence.

"For?" I asked as he laid down next to me.

"For storming off. I was being stupid." He admitted.

"You sure were." I said, making him chuckle.

I moved my head to rest on his chest, making his breath hitch slightly.

"You do realize that Fleur is going to murder you when she sees that you had your muddy boots on the bed." I said, looking up at him.

"Nah, you'll protect me." Ron said with a smile.

"Of course I will."
