Chapter 5

Killua's p.o.v

We sit in silence for a while, staring out into the ocean. It's only a matter of time before he finds out who I really am...and why I came here. I didn't intend on lying to him but it wasn't necessary to tell him either. I'll leave here the moment I get the chance, find who I'm looking for, and go back home. I've been waiting years to do this mission therefore I have to succeed. It's honestly a shame I crashed on the wrong island in the first place. Oh well..

When I snap back into reality, I notice Gon's eyes on me. I wait for him to say something.

"What are you always thinking so deeply about? I'm curious.."

I think for a second. "Home.." It wasn't entirely a lie?

"Oh..you must miss it a lot."

I manage a smile. "Yea but I'll be back soon.."

"Right" He lowers his voice and looks away from me.

Gee he's terrible at hiding his emotions. I can tell what he's thinking just by looking at his face. I have a feeling he's gonna have a hard time when I actually leave here..

For some strange reason that thought makes me feel uneasy. We've only known each Other for 2 or 3 days yet it feels like we've known each Other for much much longer. It really is a strange feeling.

Gon rises from where he's sitting. "Let's head back ok? Tomorrow I'll show you the hot springs!" He extends a hand to me.

I reach out and grab it. He helps pull me up. "Hot springs?"

He smiles. "Oooo your gonna love it! It's like a giant warm bath!"

"Ha..I think I'm in need of a bath anyways. I'm in." I say.

We begin walking back to the medical tent but I start to feel myself cough again. I don't want to worry Gon any further..

"Um..I've gotta pee..so uh..I'll just meet you back at the tent." I fidget around with my hands.

He shrugs. "Ok.."

I quickly walk away from him. The moment I'm far enough I start coughing again. It's worse this time. There's more blood..and my chest hurts when I breath. I grip my shirt and fall to my knees bending over so I don't get blood on my hands but on the ground instead. "Shit.."

It feels like theres a fire inside my body. My lungs and chest are burning. This goes on for about 10 minutes. When I have finally calmed down a bit I make sure I don't have any blood on myself before heading back to the tent. Something isn't right with me..but if I tell anyone..that might extend my stay here..and I'll cause Gon more worry and stress than he already has. I'll be fine..I can make it a while longer.

When I arrive back to the tent, Gon is preparing us a meal for breakfast and my medicine. He turns his head to look at me when I walk in. "That sure was one heck of a long pee." He says as he slices some bread.

"I've been..holding it in."

He doesn't say anything else and continues to make the food. As I pass by him he hands me the meds I need to take. They are all herbs or organic looking things. They must not have modern medicine here..but they seem to work really well. That cream stuff especially. The bruising on my ribs and face is almost completely gone. It doesn't hurt as much to walk any more.

After I take the medicine Gon hands me a plate of food. HEe sits next to me to eat his.

I take a bite and my mouth instantly begins to water. Earth food is really good..the food where I live is nothing like this.
