Chapter 18

The mother and son embraced warmly, it was a sweet sight for all to witness, but just as all good things must come to an end they ended their reunion and went to the dining hall to discuss.

"So how did the exposition go even though it was shorter than expected?"

"Oh it went very well your majesty, we've discovered many things about the magic that all for one uses most likely!"

Inko was elated at this, finally they were making progress to defeating him. Expositions like this had been held before but few survive longer than a month.

"Do continue please!"

"Well, it's a bit complicated and I don't quite understand it myself but I'll try and explain it as best I can."

Uraraka goes on to describe how they were able to communicate with a girl who described how people like her get magical abilities. They form a contract with the goddess herself through a wish of theirs. People like all for one tend to have a couple set limits to their powers.

1. There is a set limit to the amount of corruption he can use at one time, the only way to acquire more is through extra limitations being set upon him.

2. If a person with a contract were to be killed all magic or corruption that was related to his doing will be destroyed instantly.

3. The only way to kill someone with a contract it to slice the parchment it is written down on along the text portion or to burn it.

Their contract is a physical document that is said to be given to them when they are back from discussing with her.

When Uraraka is done unloading all of this information onto the four of them, they are left in a state of silence. They actually know something about all for one, from now on they don't have to plan around his attacks blindly, they have the upper hand for once.

Inko immediately begins to think of a plan.

"Do you think we'll be able to get enough of our military to destroy him?"

"Maybe, though would advise we partner up with this other two kingdoms in order to insure we aren't too vulnerable"

"I'm sure they'll agree, we have a little over three months until we all meet up next, that will be plenty of time to work out the logistics before pitching the idea to them. We can attack while we're all here, I'll start drafting letters right away"

Iida, Uraraka, and Inko spend the rest of their meal bouncing ideas off of one another and strategizing how they would go about convincing the others to their plan.

When they're finished eating Midoriya and   (Y/n) excuse themselves.

"Would you like to read with me, I still have the books in my bag and I feel like the ones about language would interest you"

"Sure, we can go to library"

The two began along their way. Midoriya noticed she seemed to have something on her mind, evident by he gaze downwards and occasional glances his way. Only when the two locked eyes and she flushed did he decide to say something.
