LAN QIREN'S PUNISHMENT

Since most of you chose option 2, so in this story, I will ship Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. There were some of you who chose option 1- Lan Xichen, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, I will try to write another story pairing these three in future.

After Wei Ying's grandfather, the God of War narrated Wei Ying's story, everyone became silent. While the mortal cultivators were processing all the information, the immortals were thinking about how much Wei Ying had changed.

Lan Sect founder who had returned a while back decided to break the silence, "now since Crown Prince's personal details have been narrated, so, let's discuss something more important,  the upcoming problem of Demon Lord interfering in the mortal realm."

Hearing Lan Sect founder, everyone nodded their heads, then they decided to call Nie Huaisang because they would need one person from each of the 5 major cultivating sects to defeat the demonic powers in the mortal realm. Lan Xichen went along with the Lan Sect founder and brought Nie Huaisang.

The moment Nie Huaisang arrived, the God of War's lips tugged as if he recalled a fond memory of someone, and muttered, "of course, you are here."

Baoshan Sanren and her 2 disciples understood what the God of War meant as they also had small smiles plastered on their faces.

Since the mortal cultivators had no right to ask a God what he meant, so they just explained to Nie Huaisang everything that took place earlier, after Nie Huaisang caught up with everything, he sighed, "Wei Wuxian Ge, has suffered the most. I will of course go with him to learn elemental cultivation."

Jiang Yanli questioned, "but if you go who will manage your sect?"

Nie Huaisang smiled, hid his face with his fan and responded, "oh don't worry about my sect, Madam Jin, my Sect has many secrets, it can function well, even if I'm not there. I just need to be able to contact them once in a while."

The four cultivators knew how capable the Nie Sect leader was so they just nodded their heads, after discussing for an hour it was decided that Jiang Wanyin, Nie Huaisang, Lan Wangji, Lan Schizui or Wen Yuan and Jin Ling would learn elemental cultivation, while Lan Xichen and Jiang Yanli would manage the Lan Sect and the Jin Sect and they would both look after the Jiang Sect.

Jiang Sect founder then interrupted their discussion, "whatever you do no one should know that some of you are going to the Heavenly Kingdom because it would look like the Heavenly Kingdom is interfering in the mortal world and then the Demon Lord would find a way to wage a battle among the Heavenly kingdom and the Demon Kingdom which lead to massive destruction, death of billions and billions of creatures in all the three realms."

Nie Huaisang, immediately responded, "no one will know about my disappearance, not even the people of my sect, there will be no problem from my side, but what about Hanguang Jun, he is the Chief Cultivator and Sect leader Jiang?"

Lan Wangji pondered for a moment, "resign from the post of Cheif Cultivator and go into seclusion, reason Wei Ying."

The other four mortal cultivators understood what Lan Wangji meant and agreed with it.

Lan Xichen said, "we can inform some selected Lan Sect elders of the truth and they can tell others in the Lan Sect that since Schizui and Jin Ling are heirs of Lan Sect and Jin Sect so they are being taught privately, and Jiang Sect leader is hurt and recuperating, so we can hide their disappearance. But this will be possible for a maximum of one year."

Lan Sect founder interrupted them, "you will only need to hide them for 6 months because, by 6 months, the Demonic power will start to gain a stronghold."
