Once Si Ming finished his story, everyone noticed that Sect Leader Jiang's face was smeared with tears.

"Lies....These are all lies....They are all lying....It can't be true.... My mother was stern and short tempered but she was not this kind of woman. My mother didn't have any relationship with Wen Rouhan, she barely even knew him, she detested him. He may have given her Zidian but I know one thing for sure that they were not close..... It's is not possible. Yes, mother was proud that she came from a small sect and became a wife of one of the five major sects leader but she loved father.... yes, in her own way she loved father.... she couldn't have possibly cheated him to marry her... no, no, she wasn't that kind of woman, a woman who would take vicious actions to attain power.  I know her, she raised me, they are all lying.... yes, they are lying... but why? What rubbish were they saying about me being a bastard....an illegitimate child, how is that even possible? My father had a younger brother, why haven't I ever heard about him? Surely, there would have been some evidences of a younger brother, no one can remove one's existence no matter how powerful they are. So, it can't be true.... of course it's not true... I don't know why I was taking all this seriously, I, Jiang Cheng courtesy, Wanyin am the son of late Jiang Sect leader, Jiang Fengmian and Meishan Yu's late Yu Ziyuan. They are all lying to me....yes, they are all lying....but why would Si Ming, the Immortal who controls the fate of mortals would lie to me?....Ummm... may be Wei Wuxian convinced him... They are trying to break me...Yes, they are just jealous and trying to break me....yes, that's it they are all lying.....yes, yes, that's it." Contemplated Jiang Wanyin.

Meanwhile, Flora Immortal's younger son, Lan Wangji was fuming, "Jiang Fūrén is really something, she cooperated with Wen Rouhan, she deceived the Jiang brothers to become the wife of the leader of one of the five major cultivating sects and to give birth to an heir to consolidate her position. She didn't care how many lives she ruined just so that she could attain power. What a vicious woman! I knew she used Zidian on my Wei Ying, that itself wanted me to kill her but she wanted to melt my Ying's core and kill him, this makes me want to bring her back and punish her so severely that she would beg to die, oh I would do so many thing to her, like first I would slit the muscles of her......huh? What is going on? Why does it feel like Wei Ying is hugging me and comforting me and distracting me from my murderous thoughts? But he is sitting so far, wait he is staring me, even with the mask on he looks so ethereal, his usually cold silvery eyes have a bit of warmth in them. My Wei Ying looks so perfect, just like the prince in my dreams..... Ahh! what's this? why do I feel sadness in this warmth surrounding me..... and now it's gone, both the warmth and sadness are gone, why does it feel so empty? Wei Ying who had been observing both Jiang Wanyin and Lan Wangji thought, "Wanyin, you need to start accepting some bitter truths and learn lessons from them, then only you can be a better Sect Leader. Yes, you take care of the people of your sect but at the same time you always prioritise yourself, your ego and your family and think of the others later. You need to accept that there are things that you don't know and somethings that you are aware of are just blatant lies covered by some kind pretence of your parents, you need to learn the truth about your mother, so that you can let go of your ego and your pride regarding your birth and actually look after the people of your sect irrespective of their origin. Wanyin, I didn't mean to hurt you but you are no more a child and you need to know the secrets and deceptions that have been engraved in your mind by the people around you........ Lan Zhan, my A-Zhan I know you are angry with Yu Ziyuan and you want to hurt her but she is already being punished for her actions, so, don't let those evil thoughts invade your peaceful and pure mind. I can't go there and hug you, my love, I need you to hate me because of the curse. All I can do is open my bond to you, and make you feel safe and aware of my presence, aware of the fact that I'm here and that Yu Ziyuan wasn't able to hurt me. I'm here for you my love. Oh! you feel the warmth from my bond, looks like you have calmed down, good, just like be calm. I wish.. I wish I could hug you now, envelop you in my arms and kiss you on your forehead, I wish... Oh Shit! you can feel this longing of mine through the bond, I shouldn't have let me my mind wander. As soon as I shut off my side of the bond I could feel you unknowingly craving for my feelings. Love please don't be sad and let yourself feel, I will always be there for you."

There was complete silence in hall, everyone was lost in their own thoughts, Si Ming wanted to grab the Crown Prince, Wei Ying's attention but felt that it would be rude, so he helplessly smiled at the Demon Prince who looked at him indicating his problem. 

Mo Cheng immediately understood Si Ming's dilemma and called his soul brother, "Ying Ge, the story has been narrated where did you get lost?"

Wei Ying faced Mo Cheng, "A-Cheng don't be ridiculous."

Wei Ying then loudly called others, "everyone, eat the dinner before it gets cold."

Jiang Wanyin opened his mouth wanting to voice the injustice done to him by narrating lies but before he could speak, the Demon Prince uttered, "Sect Leader Jiang, I know you have a lot of doubts and Ying-Ge will clear them after the the dinner." 

Jiang Wanyin looked at the host and saw Wei Ying nod his head, so he closed his mouth and began eating his dinner.

Everyone ate the dinner in complete silence, once everyone was finished eating.

Wei Ying looked at Si Ming, "thank you Si Ming for coming here and narrating the some of the events of the Mortal Realm, I really appreciate your help. Si Ming while I sent you the message inviting you for dinner, I also asked you for more thing."

Si Ming politely replied, "yes, Crown Prince I looked into the matter and you can talk to him, he doesn't have any important role in the Mortal Realm after the upcoming war."

Wei Ying ignored the curious looks the appeared on the faces of his guests and said, "Mn"

Then Si Ming got up from his seat and bid his farewell, soon one by one one everyone left and there were only three people left in the hall, which included the two princes and Sect Leader Jiang.

Wei Ying and Mo Cheng got up from their seats and went near Jiang Wanyin. Jiang Wanyin on the other hand seeing the Princes coming to him, immediately stood up.

Wei Ying spoke, "what did you want to say?"

Jiang Wanyin who had kept all his emotions in control till now, cried and shouted, letting all his emotions loose for he knew no matter how Wei Ying hated him, he was always there for him through his thick and thin, "why? Why are you lying to me? Do you really hate me that much that you would make false stories regarding my birth? I know my mother was always strict with and would use Zidian on you, yes, I know that it is unfair but still she raised you, so why are you accusing her with such crimes? Why are you labelling her as a vicious woman, who would do anything to attain power? Why.."

Before Jiang Wanyin could continue, Mo Cheng cut him, "you really are a mentally blind person, normal people would choose to face harsh and bitter realities than live under the shadow of lies and deception, but always choose for the false comfort. You always blame Ying-Ge for everything, why can't you just think with an open mind for once? Why would he lie to you? In the Mortal Realm, he only had one thing that truly belonged to him, that was his Core, he even sacrificed that to you. You on the other hand have been nothing but a thorn for him, always creating problems for him, one after the another..."

Wei Ying interrupted Mo Cheng, "A-Cheng, don't be rude."

The Crown Prince no matter how much he wanted to resent Jiang Wanyin still loved him but at the same time he was tired of his former adoptive brother's accusations, so he said, "Sect Leader Jiang come let me take you somewhere, A-Cheng you wait for me, I will be back soon and we will  drink together and discuss the real reason why you are here today."

Mo Cheng pouted knowing that his soul brother even after all the chaos remembers that he is here for an important matter, so he nodded his head.

Jiang Wanyin questioned "where are we going?"

"To see your parents" was the answer the cultivator received.
