"W-Why should you save me?"

Subaru was confused at Pandora's question because after all

"Isn't that the right thing to do?"

"The right thing to do? what is the right thing to do? if you ask me, I say the right thing to do is to ignore you and let you die"

Subaru couldn't believe what pandora was saying, She said so casually like it's the normal thing to do.

"I could tell when I first laid eyes on you Subaru, You're quite weak"

"Weak?..... How do you know that ?"

"Your entire presence tell me everything, your eyes are listless and lack spirit, your body is not particularly strong, considering the world that you live in which strength is important that's a downside on you, and your intelligence well, even a child would know not to enter the dangerous back alleys of the kingdom"

"T-That's"

"But I'm fine with it, in fact, I think your weaknesses is a part of your charm"

Subaru blushed a bit at the compliment of Pandora

"Needless to say though is that too much weakness makes a person worthless, and I dislike people who are like that"

Pandora's tone became deadly serious, her eyes were locked at Subaru's, sensing even the smallest of hesitations

"I believe that people who are worthless and are of no use to me do not deserve my help, it's natural to think like that is it not?"

Subaru was shocked at Pandora's true nature, he thought that this girl was sweet and gentle but he could not have been more wrong, this girl seems like a sociopath who would do anything to achieve her goals, but even so, Subaru still feels some sort of admiration towards the girl, whether that be romantic or not he wasn't sure yet.

"With this in mind, Natsuki Subaru, Tell me why should I save your life? just what is your worth?"

"I-I"

Subaru couldn't say his worth towards pandora, in his previous life he had been nothing but a worthless shut-in who made his family disappointed. But even in this new world, Subaru still felt the same, He felt like a worthless good for nothing brat.

Will he always remain this way?

Would his life ever change?

"No.....I won't allow it...."

Though he may not know it, He wasn't simply transported into this world for no reason, he believes that he has a grand role to play here, even if he doesn't have an op ability he must still be the chosen one or something.

"That's right.....Yes...That's it!"

"Hmm?"

Pandora looked a bit confused over what Subaru was doing but continued to observe nonetheless

Subaru finally making up his mind, looked at pandora dead in the eyes and said

"You should save my life because!...... You'll need me"

Pandora's mind took a moment to register what had Subaru just said

"............Need......you?"

"That's right"

"Fufufufu......Oh my, it seems you have quite a gift at making jokes Subaru"

"Appreciate the comment Pandora-tan but I'm not joking"

"Pandora-tan?.....No, more importantly, what do you mean by I'll need you, Not to brag, but no one could beat me in terms of power, influence, money, beauty, achievements, or anything really so saying that I'll need YOU really cracks me up."
