"I appreciate the struggle but this is as far as you'll go"

A seductive voice filled the empty street, the owner of the voice was a woman with black hair and eyes that seemed to be deviod of any empathy, she was wearing a black cloak and in her hands is a strangely shaped blade that had blood dripping from it. the woman's name is Elsa Granhiert

"Gahhh......hah....."

In front of the girl was a man that was lying flat on the ground, he was wearing a dirtied tracksuit that was shaded with the color of blood. His face was contorted in pain and he was struggling to keep his breathing intact. The name of the pitiful fellow was Natsuki Subaru

Elsa moved closer to Subaru as if she was inspecting a hunted animal that was nearing its death. She took the insignia that was beside him, then she used his feet to move Subaru's position, making him face upwards, and inspected the wound that she inflicted upon him

It was a huge slice on Subaru's stomach, Upon closer inspection, one could see the beauty and precision of the cut that was inflicted. Blood was rapidly flowing out of Subaru, and his internal organs such as his intestines, and tissues, started flowing out as well due to being unable to handle the pressure

Elsa looked at Subaru's wound with heavy-lidded eyes, she licked her lips and started letting out heavy breaths as she continues to inspect the wound that she inflicted

"Kgghhh.....shit....."

"It's painful isn't it?"

"Haaaah.......huff....."

"It makes you wanna die, doesn't it? hey....tell me, what do you feel right now? are you sad? are you afraid? are you contemplating your decisions in life? are you suffering?.....tell me...."

Her voice was like a mother that was comforting her child which made Subaru felt disgusted, he looked at Elsa's face spat on it

Elsa merely wiped Subaru's saliva and replied

"Well...I suppose anger is also a possible emotion"

After saying this she moved closer to Subaru's face and stared at his eyes

"I have to give it to you, I heard your entire conversation with the little brat, and the way you conducted the negotiations was executed quite well...it seems that you have a good head in between your shoulders"

"........."

Subaru was silent and didn't give Elsa a reply

"Which brings me to the question at hand, why do you want this insignia in the first place? why is someone like you who possesses a metia that is worth more want this thing?"

As she says this she hangs the red insignia and showed it to Subaru

".........."

"Say something.....it saddens me quite a bit to be ignored like this you know?"

After saying this Elsa stepped on Subaru's wound

"Gaaaaaahhh!"

Subaru couldn't help but let out a scream of pain as he struggled to keep his consciousness

"Come on, hurry up and tell me"

"Gaaah.......hah....."

Elsa then applied more force on her foot
