"season four - episode one - lost and found"

I FEEL WEIRD AROUND BAILEY NOW. I find myself always searching for his face amongst a crowd and trying to memorise every detail. It's different to what I feel when I stare at anyone else.

His deep brown eyes and short black hair, the way he smiles and smirks at things others may not find funny.

The way he seems to search for me too.

He's playing in a football match and everyone has come to support. Random moments in the game, he'll look for me in the stands. Carmen and Tee keep teasing me about it.

Life seems in slow motion as we watch Bailey run forward and score a goal. Instantly everyone rises to their feet, cheering and screaming as Bailey runs around with the biggest smile on his face. His teammates surround him, jumping up and down.

Back at home and the next day, everyone praises him whilst we're in the garden. "You're definitely going to get a scholarship" Jody tells him as she sits down on the bench.

Bailey looks at Tyler "Manager wants to see me later"

Tyler eyes light up "Way to go! Can you sign your shirt for me" Bailey grabs the pen "It'll be Worth megabytes when you score the goal England. Top player"

"Top show off more like" Ryan shoves his way back into the house.

Once the crowd dies down, it leave just Bailey and I in the garden. "You were really impressive you know" I tell him "I think you'll make it big in the football world"

"You really think so?" He asks with a slight insecurity.

I smile and walk right up to him "I really do" I whisper as we stand face to face.

Neither of us seem to be the strength to move away and we bore into each other's eyes. Complete opposites; light blue vs dark brown.

Bailey reaches his hand up and strokes it along the side of my jaw before resting it there. He tilts my face up. "Can I kiss you?" He whispers. I use no words and I nod my head.

Slowly he leans forward; pauses for a second, and them presses his lips against mine. I find myself instantly kissing him back.

Despite the rough persona he puts upfront, he's soft and gentle in this moment.

Tentatively, we pull away and I breathe out a laugh. "Couldn't say I expected that today"

Bailey laughs slightly as well "Scored a winning goal, and the next day I got to kiss you? I never want this week to end"

"Bailey Wharton?" We hear and unfamiliar voice behind us. We simultaneously turn and I recognise the woman. She sat in front of us at the football match.
