"Now that that's done... I'd like to let you take your leave... But first, for the Final Round, there is one more important matter to take care of." The Third Hokage said.

"Let's get on with it, so we can get to training!" Naruto shouted.

"Now, now. I want you all to calmly take one slip of paper from the box that Anko is holding."

"I'm going to go around in order...take only one." said Anko.

"Good, everyone has taken a number. Then, from left to right, tell me the number on your slip of paper." said Ibiki.

"I'm eight." -Dosu

"I'm one." -Naruto

"Seven." -Temari

"Four." -Kankuro

"Three." -Gaara

"Nine." -Shikamaru

"Two." -Neji

"Six." -Shino

"In other words, he has number five." stated Ibiki.

"Right." Hiruzen said. "Very well, I will tell you about how the Final Round tournament will work!"

"Is that what these drawing lots were for?" Shikamaru asked.

"Ibiki, bring forth the pairings."

"Yes, sir."

Naruto vs Neji

Gaara vs Kankuro

Sasuke vs Shino

Temari vs winner of match 5

Dosu vs Shikamaru

'He's so far away.' Dosu complained.

'Is that all the Final Round is, a tournament?' Temari thought to herself.

'Shoot! I have one extra round.' Shikamaru complained. 'Vendetta for Choji? Give me a break!'

'AH! Just my luck! I'm in the same section as Gaara.' Kankuro whined.

'Pickles. I hate pickles.' Gaara thought. 'Oh. I'll have to face Kankuro too... I hate pickles.'

'Perfect.' Neji smirked.

'Hyuga Neji, right off the bat? This couldn't be better! Believe it!' Naruto thought with a smile.

-Next day-

'I have some matters to take care of. I don't have time to trouble myself with you.' Naruto replayed that part of his conversation with Kakashi in his head. 'Man I just wanted my sensei to train me. Guess Sasuke is his favorite. Of course.'

After spending the day with Jiraiya after Ebisu was knocked out by Jiraiya, Naruto was on his way home.

'Wait. What did sensei really teach me besides tree walking?' Naruto then realized he wasn't taught anything else. 'He didn't teach me anything else! I have to ask Pervy Sage for some other stuff to train in besides this summoning thing. Man this is gonna be a long month, but I'll be stronger than ever! Believe it!'

-Next day again-

"Hey Pervy Sage! Can we step my training up?" Naruto asked Jiraiya once he got to the clearing behind the waterfall.

"Why would I if you can't even get this done?"

"I just realized that Kakashi-sensei didn't really teach me more than tree-walking and teamwork exercises. So I figured that if I were to be a chunin then I'd need to learn a lot more than that!"
