Chapter 13

-4 Days Later-

Naruto hasn't woken up since the little outburst 4 days ago. Hinata is starting to worry, but she trusts that Kyuubi will keep his promise. Hinata still came in everyday and talked to him. Everyday she came to visit him, she brought a single flower to add in his vase. When she entered his room on the fourth day, she walked over and placed the flower into the vase.

As she was walking to the chair, she saw Naruto stirring. She immediately rushed next to him, making sure he's ok.

"Ohh... My head." Naruto mutters as he's waking up. "Damn fox, forcing me awake. I just want-" Naruto couldn't finish as he was being squished by something. Opening his eyes for the first time in almost 2 weeks, Naruto saw Hinata hugging him while laying down on him.

"Thank goodness you're alright!" Hinata yelled out. "I thought you wouldn't wake up! I-I was starting t-to get sc-scared that y-you wouldn't w-wake up." Hinata burst out crying at the last part.

Seeing her cry because of him, Naruto did the only thing he could think of. He hugged her back and started to whisper "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." to her as he was rubbing her back. When she started to calm down, he looked down at her and was surprised when she leaned in to kiss him. "W-W-What w-was that f-for?" Naruto stuttered out as he blushed.

"For waking up." She said with a smile while blushing like mad. "I was s-so worried that you weren't going to wake up. B-But seeing you wake up in front of me just filled me with so much happiness that I couldn't help myself."

"B-but w-why did you k-kiss me?"

"S-Silly." Hinata muttered out. "I-Its because I l-love y-you." Hinata blushed after finishing her confession. "I-It's ok if you don't f-feel the same way though." Hinata said in a depressed tone. Hinata looked up to see how Naruto would react but wasn't expecting for him to kiss her back.

"It's ok Hinata-chan. I feel the same way." Naruto said as he warmly smiled at her. "I feel the same way." He hugged her once more. "Thank you. So what happened while I was out?"

After talking about everything that had happened since he was out, she told him about how he woke up for a little bit and used Kyuubi's chakra. Hearing that everyone saw him like that, Naruto got sad. He feared that his friends would turn their back on him. Hinata saw and felt his body tense, so she explained that they weren't afraid of him and that they wouldn't turn their backs on him.

"Oh thank goodness." Naruto grinned. "I was scared that they'd see me as a monster."

"They'd never!" Hinata screamed out. She then realized that she was still in his lap. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't notice I was still in your lap!" She squeaked out as she tried to get off the bed, only for Naruto to stop her.

"You don't have to get off if you don't want to. I find it quite nice." Naruto said with a grin.

"O-oh. Ok." Hinata said with a bright smile that made Naruto melt into her. After talking for a bit longer, another visitor came in.

"Hinata, has Naruto wok-"

"Hey, granny. How've you been?" Naruto chuckled nervously.

Instead of answering, Tsunade launched herself at Naruto and brought him in a bone crushing hug. "You're finally awake!"

"Y-Yeah. But I won't be for long if I can't breath!" Naruto yelled out.

"Well that's what you get for almost dying on us." Tsunade said with a sad smile. "You gave us all a big scare Naruto. Be more careful, okay?"

"Yes. Please be more careful Naruto-kun. Promise me." Hinata said in a commanding voice, which surprised Naruto greatly.

"U-uh.. S-S-Sure t-thing H-Hinata-chan." Naruto stuttered out causing Tsunade to laugh and Hinata to giggle, which Naruto found adorable. "Hey Hinata-chan." Naruto whispered to her. "You're giggle is so adorable!"
