Chapter 2

-Third Day After Preliminaries-

Once Naruto arrived he spotted Jiraiya with someone else with short brown hair wearing a -style  that frames his face. He was also wearing the standard jonin uniform.

"Hey Pervy Sage who's this?"

"My name is Yamato, and I'm here so you can practice working on controlling Kyuubi's chakra and still be safe."

"How are you going to do that?"

"By using this." Yamato said as he created wooden dog-like figures. "I can use this to suppress a tailed beast chakra or just someone's regular chakra."

"Oh that's so cool! Ok come on let's get today started!"

"Alright champ go ahead and make those clones again." Jiraiya said. After Naruto created the clones making Yamato pale as a sheet of paper, Jiraiya explained today's training schedule. "Ok I have 3 Jutsus that I want 30 clones working on for each one, 50 clones will also work on your taijutsu because to beat Neji, you're gonna have to be better at it to not lose right away if he gets close. 10 clones for shogi to better understand strategy making skills. 40 clones to practice chakra control, and 50 clones working on your calligraphy."

"Wait why calligraphy?"

"I plan on teaching you something down the road which uses good calligraphy, and learning better calligraphy will make it easier and faster down the road."

"Well alright. Can I dispel the rest of the clones?"

"Hang on a sec. Here." Jiraiya said, handing Naruto a slip of paper.

"What's this for?"

"That's Chakra Paper. If it's exposed to even the slightest hint of chakra, it reacts according to the chakra's latent element. If its wind it cuts, fire it burns, lightning it wrinkles, water it soaks, and earth it crumbles." Jiraiya said as he uses a slip of paper and it burns 1/3 of the paper, soaks another third, and crumbles the last third. "I have Fire, water, and earth. I also have wind but it's not as strong."

"Wow! Ok let me try!" Naruto shouted as he only split the paper in half, with a faint crinkle of one half. "Sensei what does this mean?"

"It means you have a very strong wind affinity and a weaker lightning one. Let's start training those elements kid! Ok since you have 2 well use the rest of the clones and split them in half so you'll be able to learn both elements."

"Wait so I can't learn the other elements?"

"No you'll still be able to, it'll just be harder to master them."

"Then why not train them all now?"

"... Kid you're right. Ok split the rest into groups of 5." Jiraiya said as he created 5 shadow clones. "Ok you guys tell each group what to do. Come on Naruto let's go with Yamato."

"Ok sensei! Man I'm learning a lot!"

"You bet, kid. This is what it's like to have a good sensei." Jiraiya said as he puffed his chest out. "Alright let's work on meeting Kyuubi. Ok, this clearing will do fine. Go ahead and start meditating kid, if you end up somewhere else than it worked and you successfully got into your mindscape."

"Ok sensei!"

"Yamato go ahead and get the Jutsu ready just in case."

"Yes Jiraiya-sama."

"Don't say sama, makes me feel old and like Danzo."

"Very well Jiraiya...sama." Yamato said while smirking, causing Jiraiya to get a tick mark.
