Your POV

I feel Zhongli's soft lips on mine. He slowly slips his tongue in my mouth. Locking his tongue with mine. It felt so good. He really knew what he was doing. As I felt his hand slip down from my hair down to my waist, I realised what was happening. I didn't mean to lead him on. I pull away from him as his hand got lower. When I pulled away he stopped and looked at me with concern

Y/n: I'm sorry... I didn't want to give you the wrong impression
Zhongli: no I'm sorry. I should have known better then to pull a move on you like that. I'm sorry. I was going too fast for you
Y/n: ...it's ok... it was nice, I just-
Zhongli: -you don't have to explain... I understand... but if you ever change your mind... I'll be waiting for you

Zhongli leaves the building with a soft smile goodbye. Y/n watches him leave then rests her head back on the door for a moment embarrassed from herself. She then opens the door and goes to bed, sleeping into the new day. When y/n awakes from her rest, she gets out of bed and returns the key, making sure she gets to the winery in time. Once she uses the waypoint. She rushes over to the winery, and waits for Diluc in the spot she has before. As she waits she sees Fumiko come down the stairs. She smirks in the direction of y/n as she does.

Fumiko: morning dear, how was your day off?
Y/n: fine thank you... how was your dinner with sir Diluc?
Fumiko: oh it was incredible!

Your POV

I see Fumiko looking up the stairs, I look in her eyes direction to lock eyes with Diluc... so he... he did spend the night with her... of course he did... they are engaged... I see Fumiko evilly smirking at me, she looked so proud of herself. It was as if she was making a statement not to mess with her. Well I hear her loud and clear. Once Diluc reached the bottom of the stairs I greeted him

Y/n: good morning sir
Diluc: yes, morning... umm Fumiko is just about to go back home to Liyue
Y/n: oh she is? Well I hope you have a safe journey back
Fumiko: aww thank you sweetie. Oh and when I next visit. Could you dress a little less revealing? We wouldn't want you to give off the wrong impression would we? This is a professional business after all

Diluc and y/n both look at Fumiko shocked. Y/n's shocked expression soon then changes to an annoyed expression

Y/n: sure, as long as you don't dress like a slut next time we meet. Might distract some people. But I guess that was your attention wasn't it? You know? since there isn't really much else you have to offer is there?

Diluc turns away smirking from y/n's statement

Fumiko: excuse me?!
Y/n: you heard me
Fumiko: are you going to let her talk to me like that?!
Diluc: umm well I uh

Fumiko storms off and leaves

Y/n: I'm sorry sir for my behaviour towards her!
Diluc: no no it's ok, she is the one that stepped out of line. She started it, and thank barbatos you finished it.
Y/n: I just don't like been treated that way...
Diluc: I've noticed... so did you have a nice time in Liyue?
Y/n: y-yeah I did... I actually met Zhongli again... he showed me around some more
Diluc: y-you did?!
Y/n: yeah... he was very generous. He helped me out a lot
Diluc: oh umm good... so uh shall we get back to work?
Y/n: y-yes...

Diluc POV

We make our way to the study but I can get the thought of her with Zhongli off my mind. What did she mean when she said he was generous?! Why does it bother me?! It's not like she's my- she is just my assistant... nothing more... who ever she is with shouldn't bother me but it does... I just want her to be happy in the end... and the way Fumiko acted towards her was uncalled for. I should have said something to her... I have a feeling that will be the last time y/n will be able to win against Fumiko though... one thing I know about Fumiko is that she always gets her way... that thought scares me slightly... what is she going to do once I do marry her?!

Y/n: sir? Are you alright? You look a little pale? Do you feel ok?
Diluc: hmm? Oh yeah I'm fine
Y/n: you sure? Do you need some air?
Diluc: I said I'm fine!
Y/n: ... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to pry...

They begin their work and y/n manages to do the work set to her from yesterday. They work together all day. Y/n was aware that Diluc was a bit off. He was usually a quiet person, but he mostly seemed distracted which was peculiar of him. When it was nearing the end of the day. Y/n was packing away her notes.

Y/n: here are the notes from yesterday's business meeting sir. I tried to write them out neat for you
Diluc: thank you...
Y/n: ... so umm are you working at the tavern tonight?
Diluc: why you ask?
Y/n: well I was thinking about getting a drink there. And thought if you were working there tonight we could walk together?
Diluc: I have other matters to attend to tonight.
Y/n: ok then... I'll see you tomorrow then... goodnight sir
Diluc: night...

Y/n leaves while Diluc is focusing at looking at the notes she had made. When she closes the door he slowly looks up. He then tosses the notes aside and puts his head in his hands. Stressed about the thoughts passing through his head. Y/n walks into Mondstadt and sees posters everywhere. She walks up to have a closer look. On closer inspection she sees a picture of a hooded figure, the same hooded figure that saved her life when she first arrived in Mondstadt

Your POV

Th-that's the man who saved me?! I read the poster in my head "wanted, the dark night hero, alive. If found, please report to the knights of favonius headquarters immediately" wanted?! Why would they put up wanted posters for him? That man saved my life?! I step away from the poster and head to Angel's share. After these long hours, I could do with a drink or two.

(Hey I recently added a dress reference for you all now on what I had in mind for your character! Sorry it is late. Honestly couldn't find a dress that fitted my minds description but this is the closest thing I could find! Ive also added it in chapter 2 for future readers!)
