Inigo's POV

I was packing all my stuff, making sure I had space enough for whatever was necessary. I really didn't want to leave, but I had no choice either.
I doubt Akari wanted to talk to me after all of this. It was hard to believe that we once were so close, and now, she despises me so much to the point where she wished me dead.
I haven't seen Chikyū either. Sayaka said he went to down town to drink away his sorrows.. because of me, is what she would say.

I went to my closet and opened it, starring into an almost empty space. That was, until my eye catched something on the shelf inside of the closet. A small box. I took it down and realized it was the box where I hid my small letters from Kaiya before she left for appointments. Curirously, I opened the box and took out a small letter.

"Hi sweetie. While I'm gone, please remember to take care of the house and help Chikyū with the wood cutting. I'll be back very soon! Remember, you are a beautiful person, inside and out, and I am so lucky to have you in my life. You're a miracle, don't forget that!

I remember getting this letter when I was around thirteen years old. That was also the time where I fell into a small depression because of my constant emotional stress. These letters always helped me through it along with Mizuki's company, and eventually, I was happy again.

I took out another one.

"Hi sweetheart! I'll be gone for a few weeks, and I know that's a long time. But don't worry, I'll be back again! Go visit Mizuki anytime and eat as many mangoes as you want. I know you love them, my little miracle.
- Kaiya♥︎"

My completely emotionless lips turned into a small smile as I put the letter back in the small box. I was definitely taking this with me as a reminder of her kind and beautiful words that warmed and embraced my heart every time. "Miracle" is what she used to call me.

Now, you might ask, why actually leave? Why not go to the other side of the town and live there? Why not go live with Mizuki or anyone else?

The answer is easy.
If I went to the other side of the town, many people would definitely wonder why I was there, which could bring attention, since.. I was quite known in my village. And if they asked why, what should I say? The truth?
They all loved Kaiya as much as my own adoptive family, and if even Akari, a person I've known for so long, turned her back against me, the chance of them doing the same would be high.
