[ Lumine's PoV ]

I walked towards the building with a Paper in my hand, Why do I have to do this I wonder...

"Ah Hello there Lumine!" Sara waved at me as I approached her "Hello there Sara, I'm here because of this" I laid the paper on the counter "it says that you need help, is there anything I could do to help?" She quickly looks at the paper and clasps her hand together "Ah! it's about this! hang on a moment" she goes inside the building for a moment and came out with a paper bag?

"Can you please deliver this to (Y/N) near the Starfell lake?" I took the paper bag before realizing "Eh? to (Y/N)?" Sara Nods "He ordered a Take-out but he hurriedly ran away, He said he has something important to do near that lake so I think he still might be there" 

What could he be doing right now I wonder? "Got it, I'll be sure to deliver this to him" I took the paper bag and waved goodbye to the waitress before running off to the gate of Mondstadt. Let's try and think about what he could be doing in the lake...

"Ah Hello there Ma'am! Have you perhaps seen Instructor (Y/N)?" I quickly look back to see that guard last time "No... why do you ask?" The girl stopped for a moment before realizing "Ah! your that lady last time!" She claps her hand together before her eyes widened "The lady from last time?!?!" I'm starting to feel a little bit nervous...

"Ehem... anyways do you know where Instructor (Y/N) is? I have something to deliver to him" I quickly shook my head no "I was about to deliver something to him as well if you'd like I can take that off your hands so I can also give it to him?" her eyes seemed to sparkle "You will? That would really help me! here!" she gives me another paper bag? this one seems heavier than the one I'm carrying

"Please be careful with it! see you around ma'am!" The guard waved at me before running off to somewhere. I gave her a stare before slowly walking off towards starfell lake with two paper bags in my hand as I began looking for (Y/N) 

I looked around the forest as I walked, remembering the time I spent with them. it was enough to make me cry but I held my tears, I could just remember it next time "(Y/N)?" I called out to him as I spot him in the middle of the lake next to the statue 

He was standing there holding his hands out as a light glowed from his palm "Sacred light: Messenger" his voice echoed around the lake before the glow on his palm took the form of a bird "Please let her know that I am fine, and visit me here if possible as I need her assistance" The bird nodded before it glowed bright blue, (Y/N) threw the bird up in the sky before it disappeared into bits "I hope it gets there..." his voice was filled with sadness as he slowly sat near the statue

"...(Y/N)?" I called out to him which finally got his attention "Lumine? What are you doing over there looking like a Wacdonalds delivery person?" I got confused, I looked like what now? " Err... never mind that, come here. there's a bunch of rocks that I put as a pathway just be careful not to fall" he points at a bunch of badly placed rocks

I gave him another confused look. how do you expect me to cross over there safely? "Ahahaha alright alright just stay still alright?" he stands up and opens his palm towards me "Mana Thread" I hurriedly held the paper bags tight as I felt the rainbow line tighten around me before pulling me towards him

before I even bump into him the line around me disappeared and he quickly caught me by hugging my chest "Free hugs" He laughed and quickly let me down and took the paper bags in my hand, allowing me to quickly turn around and cover my face "Aww don't be embarrassed being caught like a princess Lumine" he quickly laughs before gasping "Food!"

He quickly dropped the other paper bag and grabbed another paper from the paper bag and unraveled the wrapper "Toast~" he says before biting into the bread before looking at me with teary eyes and giving me a thumbs up "Thanks, very much"

I quickly went to him and wiped his tears "You shouldn't be crying while eating you know?" he closed and eyes and softly bumped his head at me "You act like your my wife, chill down Lumine we aren't married" I slowly felt my face heat up once again, he opened his eyes and stared directly at mine "Y e t ~"

"Ow?! Nooo, Toast!" I quickly turned around and covered my face once again, Calm down, That was too much, but calm down lumine you can recover

Quack

"NOOOOOO TOAST!!! YOU DAMN BIRD BUY YOUR OWN!!!"

calm down lumine, Calm down... It can wait... just calm down 

"My toast... just you wait bird...! I will have my redemption arc for my toast do you hear me!? I will hunt you down!" Alright, I think I'm okay now "Lumine! why you gotta slap me?!" I felt two hands on my shoulder shaking me "I-i-im s-s-s-so-s-o-sorry!" I tried to talk as I was being shaken too fast

"Although a few bit of that toast was fine and I'm now no more hungry, I didn't get the chance to taste the full jelly toast experience!" He said as he sighed before sitting down with me on his lap...


E-eh?!?!

"I forgot what I was supposed to do again... hey Lumine open this for me will you?" he puts the other plastic bag in my lap "U-Uh s-s-sure!" I stuttered as I slowly grabbed the paper bag and opened it and grabbed the thing that was inside the paper bag 

It was some sort of knife? "Do you recognize it?" he said as I feel his head beside my shoulder "u-Uhm... c-can y-you p-please?" he seemed to have noticed and catch up on what I was trying to say as he slowly went backward, causing me to fall in the grass "Well? Do you recognize the knife?" I saw him roll to my side "I-it looks like the one you always.. have?" He nods as he summoned the knife I was referring to "Back in my world, we call this a Karambit" He spins the knife around "It looks like a Tiger Claw, And fun fact Did you know that tiger stands for strength, power, courage, and ambition" he said with a smile 

"That knife in the paper bag is a Karambit, I asked the blacksmith to make it. just for you" I look at him with confusion "But why? you know I use swords, not a knife?" he laughs before rolling again "Here's another fun fact: Way way back then in my world the karambit was used as a last resort when the fighter's other weapons were lost in battle" He smiled as he once again rolled, to the lake...

I looked at the knife to examine it carefully, what he said about it looking like a claw was true... although if this is what a 'Tiger' claw looks like then I fear it might be hard to fight against one, There's also an engraving here too... 'Magnifique'?

"What does this mean (Y/N)? "I pointed at the letters engraved at the blade "Pwah! What? where? hang on" I forgot he fell into the lake... "Alright there we go" he climbs up the small island before standing up "It is a word I... actually don't know? it sounded cool though" he shrugged before stretching his body "Anyways, I have a task around this time, See you later Lumine?" I nod at him before he started shaking his body and slowly started to walk to the badly made pathway before looking at me with realization in his face "Ah, I haven't told you why I gave you that haven't I?"

"Take good care of it Lumine, It's a symbol of our friendship" He smiles before walking to me and putting a hand on my shoulder " I want that knife to act as our trust with each other and to act as a gift from me" he looks at the knife before looking at me directly in the eyes with a smile in his face "Thank you for being there when I need you, Lumine"

"Well then, I'll get going now before Klee bombs my tower stack, see you around!"

W-w-wait... Y-y-you...


You left the other paper bag filled with like 4 more toasts... at least take them after your dramatic acting earlier...
