I sat close to Bard and Bilbo talking both of them. We just almost hit some rock but Bard turned the barge in time."What are you doing? Drowning us?"Uncle asked. "I was born and bread in these waters master dwarf .If I wanted to drown you I would not do it here"Bard camly told"I'm getting tired of this lippylakeman. I say we throw him over the edge"Dwalin growled. "He has a name"I cried out loud. "And what that might be?"he shot back. "Bard his name is Bard"Bilbo said. "And how do you know that?" "Because we do have manners"I snapped. No Dwalin did not scare me at all. He was a great strong warrior yes but he had a warm heart. Not in the end of the middle earth would he hurt me. He glared daggers at me. But I did not flinch I glared back. Then he...chuckled? "To much like your Uncle"he said. I shook my head the company fought about Gloins money. We were in some guard gate. "Give me the money quick"Bard said. "Well pay when we get what you promised"Uncle tried. "If you walley your freedom you do as I say. Thre are guard ahead."Bard said back. Others just shook their heads. I went and snatched the money placing it to Bards hand. He smiled faintly. Company looked angry "Oh just listen to him once"I cried. We all went to our barrels. "His talking to someone. His pointing at us . Now their shaking hands"Bilbo I think whisper yelled answering to Dwalin. "His selling us out"Dwalin barged in whisper said. Then fish was dumped up on us. Eww. The smell made me almost puge. Some of the dwarfs groaned Bard kicked their barrel. "Quiet. We are approaching the tulgate"We arrived to tulgate."Hold! Tul! Papers please! "Oh its you Bard!"I heard greeting. "Morning Percy!" "Anything to declare?" "Nothing but I'm cold and tired ready to go home"Bard answered the question. "You and me both. There we are. All in order. "The man Percy said nicely."Not.so.fast. Consingment of empty barrels from the Mirkwood realm. Only...their not empty. Are they Bard?"Came slimy voice. "If I recall correctly you are licensed as a bargeman. Not.. a fisherman"he was a easily hated person I assume. "Thats none of your business"Bard answered cooly. "Wrong. It's the master business which makes is my business" "Oh come on Alfrid have a heart. People need to eat"Bard pointed out. "These fish are illegal. Empty the barrels over the side"Alfrid?ordered. "You heard him. In the canal! Come get a move on"one guard told. "Folk in this town are struggling. Times are hard. Food is scarce. "Bars spoke. "Thats not my problem"Aargh I hate that man. "And when the people hear master is dumping the fish.... back in the lake....when the rioting starts. Will it be your problem then?"Bard was winning this fight."Stop" as teached by my brothers I would like nothing more than Haha right to his face. "Ever the peoples champion...eh Bard. Protector of the common folk. You might have their favor now bargeman, but it wont last."The slimy git told. I heard Bard let out a shaky sigh. "Raise the gate"Percy yelled. "The master has his eye on you. You'd do remember: We know where you live"The git tried to threaten. "It's a small town Alfrid. Everyone knows where everyone lives"Bard said. We sail a little while. Then I hear barrels being dumped. Dwalin threat. I can't push myself from the fish so I will be dumped yay. New ribs. But then I feel the fish been lifted from me. Someone took my upperarms and hoisiting me up. When I am just to get out someone gives the barrels a nudge making me fly to my helpers chest. Which happens to be......Bard. "Sorry"I tell him. He puts me slowly down. "No problem"he said patting my shoulder. "You didn't see them. Theh were never here. Fish you can have for nothing"Bard told the the barge keeper giving him silver coin. "Follow me"he tells us. Yeah yeah. Follow you. You are maybe foot and a half taller than me. Me in my great five feet. We walk behind him when a boy comes. Oh his son."Da! Our house it's been watched"he told his father. Bard thinks awhile. "Sorry about this"He sighed to me. Oh dear Mahal.

So here I am. Climbing up from Bards toilet. "Da! Why is the dwarfs and an elf climbing from our toilet?"I hear female voice. His daughter. Elf? "Will they bring us luck?"A younger voice asks. His other daughter. I finally come the stairs up. His kids all gasp when they look at me. "Sorry but why are you staring?"I asked gently. "You are an elf"The youngest sais. "Nay. I am a dwarf why do you think of that"i ask still soft voiced. "You are so beautiful"The older girl says. I chuckle and close Bains mouth. "Thank you" I go sit over the fire. I feel blanket wrapping over me. I look up and she Bard. "Thank you"I whisper. "I'm Tilda and that is Sigrid Bain you already know"Tilda says coming to me with some clothes. "They may be not the best fit but they'll keep you warm"Bards voice says. "Thank you Tilda. I am Sonja"I tell her shaking her hand. "Can you teach me how to braid hair like that?"she asked as she sees my braids from...Uncle,Fili,Kili, Balin and Dwalin. Three from family and two from long friendship and loyalty of line. "Oh yes of course after a dry a little" I tell her. Ahh. The weapons are still open. I can't wait to see my Uncles face if there is no dwarven weapon. (Clothes are in the pic at the start) Then I come back and see Uncle staring something from the window. "A dwarvish windlance"he muttered. "You look like you've seen a ghost"Bilbo commented. "He has. Last time we saw such a weapon city was on fire. It was the day dragon came. The day the Smaug destroyed dale. Girion the lord of the city. Rallied his bowman to fire upon the beast. But dragons hide is tough. Tougher than the strongest armor. Only a black arrow fired from a windlance could have pierced the dragons hide. And a few of those arrows were ever made. The store was running low when Girion made his last stand."Balin said sadly. "Had the aim of the men have been true that day much would have been different"Uncle lowly said. I walked next to them. Balin nodded to me. I placed my hand on Uncle Thorins shoulder. He slowly raised his own top of mine. Bard slowly walked over us. "You speak as if you were there"he spoke. "All the dwarfs know the tale"Uncle told looking at him. "Then you would know that Girion hit the dragon. He loosened the scale under the left wing. One more shot and he would have killed the beast"Bain said. Dwalin chuckled. "Thats a fairy story lad. Nothing more."he said. Well atleast he was nice."You took our money"Uncle said walking over to Bard. "Where are the weapons?" "Wait here"Bard said wearily walking away. "Stay away from him"Uncle told me. "Whaa?"I asked shaking my head. "He will not do any good for you. Or do you want to end up like after Nackuri"he spat. I looked at him mouth agape. He relaised how it hurt me. I shook my head walking away. The gold was affecting him. I knew it. He was not himself. He then started talking with Balin and Fili and Kili. I knew I would be one in that converstation if Uncle would not know me. I need time alone if Im hurted. His eyes told he didnt mean it. It was enough to me. Then Bard came carrying some package. He placed it on table. There was weard looking weapons. All the dwarfs started asking and insulting them. They started call them a joke and all what you can figure. Bard tried to tell there is no better outside locken doors. I looked at Balin. He nodded. "We should take these"I spoke up. "And how do you know these will safe your life even if you fought against a dwarf?"Uncle asked. "Well maybe because book was enough to me for two weeks"I told. He knew what I was talking about bowing his head like the others did. Exept my brothers who started fuming. "Thorin she is right we should take these. These are better than nothing"Balin said. "We leave now "Uncle said after whispering to Balin. "You go nowhere"Bard said. "Why?" "There are spies watching this house and probably every dock and wharf in the town. You must wait till nightfall"he explained. Kili was gasping in pain. I ran to him. "Are you fine brother"I asked worried. "I am dear sister as long as you don't turn to many heads anymore"he teased. I shook my head but could not hold the smile back. Then I went to Tilda. "Do you want to learn now ?"I asked. She nodded happily. Bard went out. Wonder why. Well now I teach this little one. Sigrid sat next to us and asked could she learn to. I nodded happily finally someone who does not reject me.
