A saddened sigh escaped his lips as he got off of you and plopped himself of bed besides you. He continued to look you directly in the eyes as if he was studying you, trying his best to figure out what was going on in your mind.
You couldn't help but feel your heart race as your eyes locked with his. He was breathtakingly beautiful and being besides him made your feel safe and comforted.
If this was a dream, you didn't want to wake up.
"Why don't you want to sleep with me?" Jimin whispered as he continued to gaze into your eyes.
"Why do you want to sleep with me? It makes no sense! Being a high class male prostitute means you have access to rich model-like women that can provide you with a better time and compensation than me" you stated as you sat up on the bed.
"Besides, I have nothing at all to offer you. If you're with me, you'd honestly regret it. If you say something stupid like you've fallen in love with me, then just know that you're being delusional. You were studying to be a lawyer to find your parents' killer. You knew the killer was someone powerful and you knew you would likely be killed if they ever caught you and even if you were somehow miraculously able catch them you still knew you wouldn't have long to live.
Taehyung was already in danger because of you and you hated that! The last thing you wanted was to drag the man you had fallen in love down.
It pained you to say what you were about to, but you had to do it... it was the truth anyways...
"Besides... not only do I not have anything to offer you, but I don't even see a future for me... it's not like I've planned to live that long anyways" you mumbled the last part and you quickly got out of bed and shut the door surprising Jungkook who had been eavesdropping.
"Give me a ride" you managed to stutter as tears cascaded down from the corners of your eyes. A painful lump formed in your throat as you covered your mouth with your palm.
"P-please" you begged as Jungkook glanced back at the door. Within seconds the door flung open revealing a panicked Jimin.
"What did you say 'not planning to live that long'?!" He shouted as he grabbed you by your shoulders and pushed you against the wall.
"H-Hyung stop! You're hurting her!" Jungkook stuttered as he tried to push him off of you.
"Hyung, get off her now!" You heard Taehyung call before you felt Jimin loosen his grips on you.
