A/N: I've decided to edit Y/N into an OC and into third person (really sorry if you prefer it like it was) but i feel like it will just help me develop her character and the story a bit better (Her name is now River Hope). Hope you enjoy!! :)

River awoke with an awful headache, letting out a groan before remembering the other presence in the room - one which had his arm wrapped around her.

Sirius.

After a rather large alcohol consumption last night, she retreated to his room for the second time - this time, if possible, being even more incredible. Which left, a most likely confused, Remus on his own. She felt awful for leaving him like that, but she couldn't help but think of Sirius while she kissed him.

Removing Sirius' arm from around her slowly, in attempt to not disturb him, she climbed from his bed, chucking on one of his plain shirts. River stole his lighter and a cigarette from his bedside cabinet, before opening the large doors at the end of his room which led onto his balcony.

She leant on the railings, taking in the fresh morning air and beautiful sounds of the worlds creations. The sun shining strongly, hitting the Black home at the perfect angle; emphasising the bright colours which emitted from the rows of flower beds, the small stream of water making it seem glass-like and fragile, and creating large shadows against the walls from the ivy which was crawling upon it.

Her thoughts wondered, as she began to think of her mother and how happy she would be, to be surrounded by such a warmth radiating home. This was, of course, only due to the current inhabitants of the house, she couldn't help but think it would have been the complete opposite for Sirius as a child.

She was pulled suddenly out of her thoughts as she felt arms crawling around her waist, and a chin placed on top of her head. "Morning, love."

"Sleep well?" she asked.

"Amazingly, thanks to you." Sirius smirked, placing a kiss on her head.

"About that-" she began, turning to face him, now leaning against the railing with Sirius above her.

"River, please don't start this again, it's not fair." Sirius complained.

She knew it wasn't fair, but what was the other option? She had now come to understand how she felt about Sirius, kissing Remus last night confirmed it. But in his eyes she was just a teenager, just a way to pass time - atleast she thought.

"Sirius, please, I know that I'm just for your enjoyment. You don't need to pretend. But I don't want to do this again, I mean it this time," she lied.

"For my enjoyment? Are you joking me? I'm fucking crazy about you, River." he admitted, causing River to widen her eyes, "The first time I met you, I couldn't take my eyes off of you. The first time we kissed and I left, I felt so, so guilty, and when you left to go back to school, it took me weeks to convince Molly to allow you to come home - well, here, I mean - I made up some bullshit about it not being safe. I tried to tell you last time, but you upped and left. Why don't you just talk to me?" Sirius pleaded, turning his back to her.

Completely shellshocked, River stood frozen for what felt like an eternity, trying to comprehend what Sirius had said. It made sense; the sudden need for her to leave school, the jealousy when Remus touched her and the constant mixed signals.
