The paper fell from Lila's hands and unto the floor. Lila smirked and looked up, expecting to see Marinette's reaction to being furious or near to tears, but nothing. She didn't react. Lila was confused. Normally, the famed every day-Ladybug would scowl, protest, or threaten to tell the teacher of what she had done, but today, she didn't do anything.

She examined her movements and her expression. Her stance remained still, like a statue, showing no signs of protest. Her expression was blank. But what draw her the most were her eyes. Her usual blue ocean eyes filled with wild expressive waves are now like a dark grey cloud floating in the sky, heavy with water, but never really pouring.

And then, it clicked. She had broken the girl. She had finally broken the girl. Just a week of the new school year and she had finally broken the brave bluenette. She swallowed a victory laugh for she will savor this moment for now.

She leaned in, enjoying the view she has of her eyes. Her dark empty eyes. She knew she already said this before, but knowing she had successfully broken the girl and was the first to see gave her more satisfaction. "I won."
